“Nice for the money”

very nice hotel. Have stayed before and will again.

Everything was fine except there was no hot water in the sink and shower. At best it was luke warm.

“Decent hotel”

Overall my stay was comfortable and my room had a nice view of the creek and the boats. The service was fine although they did screw up my refund for a night as I mistakenly booked an extra night.. expedia gave me a coupon for future use so I am fine. This is a good location if you want to visit the old Dubai and the gold market which is walking distance.

The Hotel is so so, all the intention of them are to the night clubs only, but not taking care of the regular guests. the behavior of the security is very bad with the girls who are coming to Night club, they treat them like a nun humans, which is not good, at least this is their business and the security also have to respect them. the fridge located in the room is empty even they didn't put a bottle of water in side. personally I spent two nights with out bathroom towels.... when Asked form the room service, they said we send all Towels for washing... so how amazing..... The TV had only the local Chanel no receiver or dish and news or other services were available. They have a high charge for the entry of Night clubs, AED 150 for normal and AED 500 for the Arabic Night club, which is very high. also they have to offer free night club entry for the Hotel gusts.

“St George - a terrible experience”

This hotel is a rip-off and is a terrible experience. No linen in the room when I checked in at 9 am. Called House-keeping thrice, he finally brought in 1 x Towel after 30 mins - saying the laundry has not yet come in, hence could not provide hand-towels and the bath mat. Upon returning to the room around 9:30 pm, the linen had still not appeared. Upon calling house-keeping, they sent me 2 x rolls of toilet paper, saying they did not have hand-towels and bath mats !! Upon getting a bit aggressive with him, the hand-towels and bath mats suddenly appeared within a few minutes !! Though the hotel website includes internet access as a part of the room amenities, you have to pay extra for this. The lady at the reception told me she was aware about the mention on their website, however I still needed to pay for Internet access. I finally did, however the Internet still did not work - and my IBM Laptop took forever to get an IP address from their low-grade equipment. No taxis available here (without a long wait). The hotel taxis's are a complete rip-off. The surrounding area is terrible. Stay off this property, this hotel is a rip-off and one of the worst properties I have ever stayed in !! Expedia should do themselves and their clients a favour and de-list this hotel from their site.
