Guests of The Fairmont Dubai can watch sunrises and sunsets from the two rooftop pools at the Willow Stream Spa, which also includes a health club, and massage and beauty treatment rooms. Accommodations include high-speed Internet connections (surcharge), cable/satellite television with Internet access, and multi-line phones. Stocked minibars, coffee and tea facilities, and complimentary bottled water are also provided. Bathrooms offer complimentary Miller Harris toiletries, along with hair dryers, makeup/shaving mirrors, bathrobes, and slippers.

Spectrum on One - This restaurant features eight interactive kitchens specialising in cuisines from India, Thailand, Japan, China, Europe, and the Middle East. Open for dinner daily. A bar and champagne brunch are available. Reservations recommended.
The Exchange Grill - Offers rich surroundings of leather, bas-relief timber, and hand-etched Italian glass. The menu includes grilled specialities, Angus beef, game dishes, and fresh seafood complemented by an extensive wine list. Open for dinner daily. Reservations recommended.
Cin Cin - This Paul Bishop-designed wine bar features intricate flooring, reflective white panelling, and modern furnishings. More than 250 international labels and 48 wines by the glass are available. The menu includes Wagyu beef burgers, caviar, and other international delicacies. Open for dinner daily.
Pronto - In the morning, fresh pastries and freshly brewed coffee are served at this gourmet café. At lunch and dinner, selections include sandwiches and salads. Open daily.

“City Views”
I stayed at the Fairmont for one night only and asked for a room with a great view. I certainly got that. I was on the 31st floor in a corner room and the windows gave a view across the Dubai skyline. Was great! I also used the gym and the pool area which was excellent by any hotel standards. Well worth a visit.
“Been there many times, stayed in many places and this is the best one within the city”
Ask for up-grades there's a good chance they'll hook you up!
“Overpriced for the Market”
Yes, it's beautiful. Yes, it's 4-star. Yes, the rooms are large. Yes, amenities aboud. But those phrases could easily describe any non-budget hotel in Dubai. The only discernable difference between the Fairmont and its competitors is the Fairmont's high room rate. It is as if the Fairmont's mangagement/ownership are in denial regarding the diminution that Dubai has suffered as a regional business hub. The low occupancy rate during my stay seemed to say: "Sorry, Fairmont! 2007 ended three years ago!" I, for my part, only selected the Fairmont because I thought the chasmic difference in price between it and its competitiors must surely have portended some great benefit. Alas, it did not. Mind you, none of the foregoing is to suggest that the Fairmont Dubai is a bad hotel. It is, as are its competitors, an excellent property. Indeed, in most other cities of the world, absent this pesky financial crisis/recession, the Fairmont would easily warrant the high rates that it seeks. But this is Dubai in autumn 2010, and the Fairmont ignores that reality at its peril. I could go on about the lack of breakfast, non-access to the business center, separate fee for the gym, etc., but, as we say in the States, "You get the picture."
“Nothing to write home about”
The room was next to a construction site which was working 24/7 Many lights were not working both in and outside the room

the hotel is good i like the service specially the house keeper when i just arrive tell me to call any time to have ice-cubes with a wink, about the coffee i find the coffee but they dont put a machine for it when i tell them they bring one and they dont know how to use it they take a long time

“Great Experience!”
Staying at the Fairmont was a great experience. My besides the luxurious facilities, oasis like pools, space-age elevators, hip art, dizzying array of good restaurants, the service could not be beat. The concierges became friends, the doormen personal greeters and all felt like allies whose pleasure it was to see that your stay was as effortless and memorable as possible. I didnt want to leave.
