Great for the business traveler, Good food at a fair price at any hour. People watching in the bar while listening to the best parrot band in Dubai is worth the trip!

The Traders Hotel was a great place to stay not only in accomodation but also in its position near the Metro - 2 min. walk. If you join the Traders Club - breakfast and afternoon canapes and drinks are included, plus free internet as well as Wifi. Checkout is at 4p.m. so its great for an afternoon flight. The closest Metro is Abu Baker al Siddique and for a few dollars you can travel all around the city. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and there is a tourist information desk for any tour booking. There is a free shuttle to the beach and another to the Deira City Centre. The airport is only 10 minutes away and easy to get to by either taxi or Metro. There are a few shopping malls within walking distance - Reef Mall and a 24 hour Hypermart. Its a great place to stay and to explore Dubai. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

“Classic Shangri-La”

I've stayed at several Shangri-La hotels in the past, and this one was on a par. Very comfortable luxury with pretty much everything you would expect including free internet. Some very minor complaints ... eggs were delivered cold at breakfast in the Club room all 3 mornings, and they had some trouble flagging down cabs during rush hour because of the location.

A fine Dubai hotel in all respects with outstanding staff service, excellent food, and a surprisingly good hotel nightclub and band. I always stay here on my way through Dubai mainly because the staff are extremely customer oriented and the room service and breakfast buffet are outstanding at a great value. Very convenient to all airport terminals but not too close to be bothered by noise. I highly recommend Traders, Dubai!

“the perfect 2 night stopover”

As I have come to expect, choosing a Hotel through Expedia has never let me down. This Hotel was ideal for our purposes - a 2 night stopover between an African safari and a family holiday in rural France. We were able to exercise in the pool, enjoy the restaurant, and were offered the hotel vehicle for our early morning transfer to the airport.
