“Perfect business hotel”

Efficient, friendly staff, good quality environment, good choice of (vegetarian) food, business facilities and club lounge, all make this my first choice hotel when staying in Dubai. The only disappointment is a slow broadband ethernet connection in the rooms - high speed wifi would be perfect.

“Best Hotel In The World”

I have been going to the Traders Hotel for over 2 years and during this time frame I have had nothing but a an excellent experience. The hotel services are first rate. The hotel staff remember me everytime when I return to the hotel as well.

“Traders Hotel Dubai - Highly Recommended”

There is no such thing as a well located hotel in Dubai because there is no such thing as a CBD. Dubai is an amazing and seemingly neverending contruction site. The heat (and distances) means you take taxis wherever you want to go. The Traders Hotel was about 10 minutes from the airport. Although on a busy intersection (all intersections are busy)the room appeared to be soundproofed. The hotel is near new. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb (arguably the best I have experienced.) Would look forward to staying at the Traders again.

“My Stay @ Traders Hotel”

Traders Hotel is the place to be while in Dubai whether for business of for plaesure. It's in the centre of everything with the train running just a few metres away and the station less than five minutes' walk from the hotel entrance. I however, suggest that management give consideration to a non-smoking space in the Chameleon Bar because non-smokers are literally turned into involuntary smokers.

“Holy Smokes”

Ok so Dubai is a smokey place period. But if I have a non-smoking room I still expect it to be that - a respite from the smokiness everywhere else. My room and this hotel are quite nice - I had reasonably high expectations knowing it was a Shangri-La affiliated property. But when I am hit walking in the door with a blast of stinky smoke smell and call down before even unpacking, I really don't expect to be told "We'll bring you some air freshener." Which they did. But it did no realy good. Each time I entered the room I was hit with a wall of smoke stink. By departure all my clothes stank of it too. It got to the point I had to brace myself to enter the room. Not what I really needed on a stressful business trip. I would however, give them another chance, just I would NEVER accept air freshener again -I'd be insistent on getting a real non-smoking room. Shame on those smokers who have so little discipline they have to destroy rooms in hotels. Get a smoking room or get out!

“Above average, good value hotel”

Friendly and efficient service. Food a bit disappointing. Free transfers to beach and shopping are a useful service. Overall, a good value, reasonably positioned hotel.

“OK four-star”

It was a bargain for a Dubai four-star, at the expedia price. Rooms were small and many alcoholic drinks on the menu were unknown by staff and unavailable. Room service receptionists often did not understand English. Food was OK though.
