“Nice but not...”

Clean; friendly and helpful staff. However, needed maintenance. Both toilet seats were broken off the hinges and fell in the floor. No wireless internet and our devices were not hard wired. NO HOT WATER ON TWO OF THREE MORNINGS.

Area recommendations

Neighborhood was good. Close to Burjman Mall and Metro. Clean and within walking distance of Metro and Mall.

“Not Impressed”

This cannot be a 4 star hotel. Only the price is 4 star. Very basic stuff is available in the rooms....no extra towels, kitchen is bare minimum...no kitchen towels are provided. Bathtub was soooo small. Staff is very helpful. No restaurant does not help either.

Bur Dubai. Closer to metro & nice restaurants, shopping close-by.

“Very peaceful! Would use again when returning to Dubai”

Waterfront Hotel Apartments was conveniently located in Buj Dubai with a Ten minute walk to the Khalid Bin Waleed metro station. Our room was a Studio with every essential needed. The swimming pool could have been a little larger but it was good enough for a bathe. I would recommend this hotel if you need a central location close to main transport links.

Area recommendations

If you looking for back street shopping and the ability to haggle the prices then I recommend Naif next to Deria. Everything from electronics to clothing can be found. Naif can be access on the Green Metro Line. It’s a interesting change from the shopping malls.

Events and shows

Check out the annual GITEX IT Conference at the world trade centre. This event happens every October and well worth visiting for the latest IT gadgets and service providers from around the world.

“Great location for the price”

I stayed at the Waterfront for four nights. My first room was a smoking room so I asked to change rooms. The hotel staff responded immediately. My next room also smelled of cigarettes, but was not so bad. Overall, the rooms were comfortable and the staff was very professional. I plan to stay here again the next time I am in Dubai, but will probably opt for the larger apartment style room. I used the gym and sauna and had no problems. The AC was not working in the gym, so this may discourage some from using their modest gym. The sauna worked beautifully. It was well maintained and hygienic. The internet was free and worked well for my entire stay. There was no WIFI in the room, but the internet cable was long enough to reach the bed and small desk. The store across the street is great for buying water and snacks. There is a much larger grocery about a 10 minute walk from the hotel that has just about everything you'll need. Likewise, the metro station is about the same distance and provides access to all the major Dubai attractions. Noise was not an issue. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Other than the mosque across the street, very little is heard from outside. Inside, I was rarely disturbed by anyone. Overall, a good option for value minded travelers.

“not bad for the price”

Cant say it was a bad place to stay, not exactly the ritz carlton but it has everything you need with the exception of shower wash cloths although im starting to think thats normal in hotels these days, at least in the middle east. Overall everything is average, not bad for a few nights stay if your not a picky person and just need somewhere to crash, I plan on staying there on my return trip. Its not for everybody but im prior military, I've stayed in worse places. It has everything you need, just not the best of it.

“good depending on how much you pay”

i recommend the hotel .. and it's pretty good ,, except there is no close restaurants and you have to walk a distance to the metro station .

“Great Hotel Apartments ! i would give them a score of 9/10 !”

Well short review: Everythings great !! didnt face any issues..... stay was comfortable and enjoyable Internet is Free but u should bring ur own Router if u wanna use WIFI.... theres a LAN cable in the room. All facilities are available in the room. Good show.

“Great for the Price”

It was great! They cleaned and mopped the room (ceramic tile floor) everyday and even changed the sheets everyday too. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The Manager/Owner? even said that if I needed a late check out it was no problem. The neighborhood was quiet. The weight room was amazing and the roof top pool was very nice. With a full kitchen in the room it was nice to have a full line grocery store only a couple of blocks away and they even offered free delivery to the hotel. If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay; this is it. I will absolutely be staying here again.

“Free Internet”
