“Excellent Appartment Hotel near Dubai Creek”

Spacious room with lounge and an extra WC as well as H&C SH&WC ensuite. Beds were comfortable and rooms accomodated 3 adults amicably. Surrounding area was nice and peaceful. Excellent desk and porter staff. Janice was very customer focussed, smiling, pleasant and very helpful. Abbas was also very polite and helpful with the moving of the luggage. Rajesh Kapoor, General Manager, was a charming man and happy to talk to the customers and share his experiences. Overall, a great hotel centrally located in Bur Dubai (Old City), close to Burjman Centre and Karama district for Indian foods and eating venues such as Bombay Chawpatty. In the next block is another Hotel which has a privately run restaurant in its reception area. This venue serves an excellent breakfast for 29 Dhirams per person buffet style (that is about £6 GBP). Enjoyed the Big Bus "Blue and Red" tours in one ticket that shows most of Dubai in a day for 200 Dhirams (about £40 GBP) per person. Also British Embassy and others close by. Would be very happy to use the Waterfront Apartment Hotel again!

“Great value for money”

Waterfront Apartments is located on the Bur Dubai side of the Creek, on 16 Street near the junction with 3 Street at the western corner of the British embassy compound. 16 Street runs down to Khalid Bin Al Waleed Road (also known as Bank Street) near the Bur Juman mall. Waterfront is a superb place to spend a few days in Dubai. Well equipped and spotless, with cheerful and helpful staff. And yes, they do change the beds every day. The broadband was fine, and local phone calls and faxes are free (we just had to pay AED 2 for a call we inadvertently made to Sharjah). Food etc. can be bought at the Al Shuwaihi Grocery across the road, which has fresh milk at British corner shop prices. Apartment kitchens are well equipped. The management was selling ready meals you can heat up yourself. We found the food centre on the third floor of the Bur Juman mall was good value (there are actually two, not the same, in each half of the mall). An easy, tourist-paced stroll to Khalid Bin Al Waleed metro station or, in the other direction, to the Bastakia, Creek waterfront ferry stations, Dubai Museum, etc. Taxies from/to the airport took about 15 mins and cost about GBP 4. Although the metro serves the airport, probably best to go by taxi, as a) probably cheaper for a group, b) the metro supposedly bans suitcases, and c) you wouldn't want to drag a wheelie suitcase from the metro in the midday heat.

“Had a Lovely Stay, Excellent Value for Money”

We stayed 6 nights in Waterfront Hotel Apartments. Rooms are very spacious and clean, Staff are very polite and friendly and if I can recall the names correctly Janice, Anish, Maryann and Abbas were very helpful. They helped us a lot for rental car reservation, getting Public Transport and shopping. Hotel is in walking distance to Borjman Shops and Metro station so you can go to all Major Malls with the minimum cost. I did a research before choosing this place and you can not find any better place with this reasonable price.

“Very peaceful! Would use again when returning to Dubai”

Waterfront Hotel Apartments was conveniently located in Buj Dubai with a Ten minute walk to the Khalid Bin Waleed metro station. Our room was a Studio with every essential needed. The swimming pool could have been a little larger but it was good enough for a bathe. I would recommend this hotel if you need a central location close to main transport links.

“Nice hotel”

I recommend this hotel to anyone because is clean, comfortable and near the metro which you can go for shopping in city center and visit other tourist places and malls. I would go again to the same hotel if I have a chance to visit Dubai again.

“Stop your search now.”

I stayed 3 days in Waterfront Hotel. It is clean, and the room was reasonably spacious. The kitchen was fully equiped. Free internet service. Cabs don't have a clue about this hotel though. Take the hotel phone number with you as you may have to ask the cab driver o call and find out where it is.

“We would definitely stay there again”

The hotel is in an excellent location--with in walking distance of many of the attractions. It provides so much more than a hotel room with the full kitchen.
