Best if you have time to enjoy the hotel itself.Posted Jul 13, 2015
Cons: A few mechanical glitches. TV remote was fixed. Shower leak was not.
Location: Half a block from train (DART) station. 10-minute walk to pubs and restaurants in Ballsbridge. Half a block from Aviva Rugby Stadium.
Nice property on a quiet (except for rugby weekends) tree-lined street in a residential neighborhood. Half a block from a DART station (but note that trains run less frequently after the evening rush hour). Welcoming, helpful, and accommodating staff. Our room had a few mechanical issues (shower leak, TV remote), but was spacious and otherwise well-maintained. The best things about this property, though, are probably the breakfast dining experience, the afternoon tea, etc.; that means you have to actually spend time at the hotel to truly enjoy it. If--as was true of my wife and me--you are using the hotel as a "base camp" and will be gone from early until late exploring Dublin, you might think about a more centrally located hotel (e.g., around St. Stephen's Green). But if you want a place to retreat at the end of each day, Ariel House is great. Oh, and if you're attending an event at the Aviva Stadium (at the DART station half a block away), this place can't be beat.

Wonderful Victorian townhomePosted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: I loved the old world charm of the interior and the efficient and pleasant staff.
Cons: Can't think of anything. Meets and exceeds European standards.
Location: In a quiet neighbourhood with access to Aviva Stadium, central Dublin and local bars and restaurants.
Warm inviting Victorian townhome with warm and welcoming staff. Dierdre, Cecelia and Owen made sure I felt welcome and that my room met all my needs. Most pleasant stay with wonderful breakfast selection. Bonus was that I was 5 minutes from the AC/DC concert and was home quickly and safely. Only a 25 minute walk into Dublin Centre but away from the bustle and noise of the downtown area.

Fabulous stay!Posted Jun 26, 2015
We arrived quite early but the hotel got us checked-in and provided us coffee and scones as we waited for our room to be cleaned. We were greeted by someone named Cecilia and were saddened not to see her again, as she was quite lovely and full of energy. The room was great! The only downfall was the length of the bed. The hotel is located on a BEAUTIFUL street and is in walking distance of many attractions. Only a 2 minute walk to the DART station.

Staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Although there wasn't much parking, the staff kept are car keys and handled that themselves.

Nice choice for DublinPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: Clean comfortable room, helpful staff, location, nearness of transportation, breakfast, good restaurants nearby.
Ariel House is located in the Ballybridge area of Dublin, it is a pleasant college area, quiet and located 1 short block from theDART and bus. The building is beautiful and week maintained. Staff is friendly and will help with luggage, cabs, booking events and suggestions for restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc. Our room was small ( I am sure there are larger ones), very clean and comfortable; the room was cleaned each day. The best part of staying at the Ariel House is the breakfast, there is a full menu and buffet. The food is wonderful and there is plenty of it. Breakfast staff are pleasant and attentive. Breakfast is an great experience at the Ariel House! There were families, business people and vacationers all staying at Ariel House.
