Great stay.

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Location and amenities. Staff.
Location: Temple Bar, train station, food
Excellent staff, breakfast and food were great. I can only say I disliked the shower with the half glass on the tub. All in all, great stay.

Pleasant stay in ideal location

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Located away from the hustle bustle of the city centre but within walking distance of everything. Hotel was clean, modern, food was good and not ridiculously priced. Overall a very decent hotel to stay in.

Great hotel, friendly staff, perfect location

Posted Jul 11, 2014
We stayed here for two nights and could not be happier. We did not have a car and found it very easy to walk or bus everywhere. The staff was so welcoming and the room was clean and spacious. The bed was giant! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great deal on a safe and wonderful hotel.

2 night break with family of four.

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Overall a pleasant hotel with good location for city centre access. Tram line very convenient. However we did find the rooms outdated by modern standards for a 4 star hotel. Lady at front desk on day of arrival was unhelpful but most other staff in general were quite helpful.

Solid accommodations near Guiness

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Solid hotel - large property with amenities. My room had a double bed and a single bed. There was no air conditioning, but apparently it never gets hot in Dublin, so it isn't really needed (high temperatures of 63 F in July when I visited). The bathroom was roomy with a good layout and nice shower. The 'full Irish breakfast' included eggs, baked beans, tomato, sausage or bacon, (I think hash browns) and toast. Good latte in the bar in the afternoon. The soundproofing was not as good as some places, so I could hear people talking as I walked down the hall. The hop-on hop-off bus has a stop very near to either side of the hotel (Heuston station and Museum) so going to and from downtown was no problem.

Modern hotel but a bit remote.

Posted Jul 6, 2014
This hotel is very modern, clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Pub food on-site not all that good. If u want quiet this is your place. If u want to be able to walk to local sites & experience Dublin's pub life this is NOT your place no matter how much hotel promotes access to easy transportation. New light rail is packed at all times & walk to Temple Bar area is 30 minutes. Beware of hype in Dublin about how "close" sites are in terms of walking minutes.

Good value, but a few blocks away.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Price, view, proximity to train station
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Molly Hands pub and the park are close by.
The hotel is a few blocks from the modern, happening part of town. This hotel is directly across from Guinness and a short walk from Jameson. There was a mix up with the name on our reservation and the staff was a bit defensive at first. After getting things straightened out, everything was smooth sailing from here. The overall hotel accommodations were adequate and the onsite bar and restaurant seemed very nice. This location is about 15-20 mins walking to downtown, but only 5 mins from the bus and train terminals. The room had a kind of antiquey look to it, which we liked. We also found the heated towel rack to be a nice touch. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I would recommend this business to others.

Fabulous hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed, spacious room, location.
Location: National museum, Guinness Storehouse, Phoenix park, nice walk along the Liffey river to downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel for 5 nights. The rooms are very large with comfortable large size beds. It is at a very good location that just next to the National museum and only a short distance walk to hop-on hop-off bus stop or bus #145 to Trinity College. The front desk staffs are very friendly. The room attendant is very helpful. She replaced a new kettle for us immediately when we informed her the old kettle was leaking. This is a great hotel to stay in Dublin. One more thing to mention, their restaurant has very good seafood chowder :-)

Well located hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location
Hotel has a great location. If you plan to do day trips by the train, you can simply walk to the train station. Close to stop for hop-on-hop-off bus.
