“D4 Courtyard (not to get mixed up with the D4 tower next door)”

I rated "service" lower. Front Desk was a 5+. very helpful, map/directions/recommendations. the wait staff in the bar & restaurant couldnt ignore me any more if they tried. The food was great, the service was not, for 5 days. Nice bed-n-bag comforter. You can control your electronic termostat. They provide shampoo and liquid soap and hand soap. Hot water boiler with tea/instant coffee/milk/sugar. TV with some ok channels.

D4 Berkely is a great hotel, gracious lobby, lots of nooks and comfy chairs to sit and chat, read (they have a shelf of wonderful old books you can borrow) and/or have a drink or something from the bar menu. The bar is handsome, friendly waitstaff, there is even an outdoor terrace to sit and dine in the sunshine. One of my favorite things was the lobby breakfast station, every morning I enjoyed excellent coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and a delicious scone. My room was very nice. Definitely a four star hotel, a throw back to the good old days when hotels were gracious and well staffed. As a single traveler I felt very comfortable and the location is in a lovely neighborhood with bus stops to Dublin and to the airport just a few steps away.

“Safe, clean, quiet and good value.”

This hotel was around the corner from the Air coach bus stop and bus stop into Dublin. There was a Tesco and restaurants withtin a 10 minute walk. It was in a very safe and quiet area of the town, but also convenient to the main shopping and sightseeing areas. There was a selection of breakfast items on sale in the lobby for reasonable prices. My sisters from the UK met me here, we booked separately, but we all got reasonable rates. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. It was a bargain and we would all stay here again.

“Fantastic”

Considering the quality of the service and room this hotel was a fantastic deal. I could have paid triple and still been satisfied. Great location as well - one block from the DART. If I return to Dublin I will stay here again - as opposed to other citied where I usually feel the need to 'try out' something new. I also loved the fact that this hotel was not clogged with Americans (I am American - and I wanted to get away for vacation). This hotel helped to make my trip great!

“Great value in an expensive city”

Cracking hotel, staff were all very pleasant and knowledgeable. Extremely good rate for a 4 star and only a very shoort distance from the city centre, would reccomend anyone to come here.

“Great Hotel!”

Amazing value, Dublin is expensive for lodging. This hotel is less than 2 miles from Temple Bar so an easy walk. Easy to walk to any hop on - hop off bus stop as well. Hotel doesn't have a fitness center or pool, but otherwise good.

“Can't wait to go back”

This hotel was one of the best I've stayed at in a long time. First of all, the staff was fantastic. There was someone at reception 24/7 and they went above and beyond to help us by letting us use their internet, giving tourism advice and helping us books trips, also letting us store food in the bar fridge. Rooms were amazingly clean and so comfortable, with hair dryer and US electrical outlet!! There is a bus/taxi stop right outside the hotel and it's a short walk to restaurants and convenience stores. A 10 min ride to the city center, but not bad for the price and comfort of the hotel, it is in a nice rich area of Ballsbridge. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would def stay here again if we come back to Dublin in the future. I recommend it to anyone if the price is right for you.

The hotel is not centrically located, but it is in one of the best neighborhoods in Dublin, and there is a bus that will take you right to the City Centre in a matter of minutes. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly and multilingual, and the rooms are very comfortable.
