“Wonderful staff, great service!”
from checking in to leaving after five days the Skylon was a wonderful experience. the stafff was helpful, friendly and accomodating. all the meals we ate including the buffet breakfast were great and the service was spot on. a little out of the way for such a great hotel, but awesome restaurants right across the street and convenient neighborhood location. will definantly recomend this hotel to friends and when i go back it is the place to stay.

“WILL be back!”
This was a repeat visit to Dublin Skylon, and I hope to have many more! The Hotel was brilliant and the staff friendly and caring!! Perfect location, near the city centre, yet out enough to be peaceful. On the bus line so easy access to everything!! Great to see the updates! VERY ecofriendly hotel!
“Great Dublin Hotel”
I was fairly satisfied with this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The location was not very convenient, and upon check-in our room was not what we requested. However the customer service was great and they switched our rooms with no problem at all. They were very helpful. I would stay here again, but unless you are wanting to take the bus to downtown Dublin, try finding something a little closer to the city center.
“Good location halfway between town and airport”
Skylon hotel is a nice comfortable hotel between Dublin town centre and Dublin Airport. If you don't mind taking a bus or taxi to the center of town only 15 minutes away. The hotel lobby is very comfortable huge red couches that you sink into very nice to have coffee/tea and scones service! The rooms are average size but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ten euro extra and not worth it go elsewhere! I found the hotel bar/restaurant very expensive for the food and drink and in dire need of a makeover, very dated alcoves seating area compared to the lobby. You are better off going across the street to the Ivy House great food and drink specials and nice venue.
“Perfect setting for our first visit to Ireland.”
We arrived at the hotel at 10:00am. We checked about early check in and was told a room could be ready by 11:00. They kept our bags and we had an early lunch at a nearby deli. It was just one of the example of our (me and my 2 daughters) ahd with the hotel being very accomadating for our 5 night stay. I really worried about booking a hotel online and not being able to call and make sure it was what I wanted. The hotel lobby was very quaint and had afternoon tea everyday, there was always someone at the front desk to answer questions for us and if they didn't know they would get back to us promptly. The room was old fashioned in looks that just added to the charm of the place and the room was clean and always cleaned when we returned from our days of touring. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel.
“Will return for a third visit”
Liked it the first time ... the second and will return for a third.
“Would stay here again!”
Our family enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Easy to get to city center via bus... bus stop is right across street from hotel. Food was good. Staff were very helpful. Room was nice.
“Dublin Hotel between airport and town”
We picked this hotel for our last night in Ireland, for it's proximity to the airport and car return. Also with in our budget. Took us less than 20 minutes on a Wed morning at 7:00AM to return our car. We were disappointed in the Pub at the hotel, very limited selection after 6:00 pm and priced high for the quality. Pub service was fine.
