Hotel located in centre of Dublin

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Hotel is well located, even if Temple Bar can be a noisy part of town with all the bars and pubs. Hotel pub is very nice
Cons: There is really no excuse for having burnt out lights and clogged drains. Small TV with only 3 stations - really?
Location: Temple Bar is in the centre of Dublin. You can walk to virtually all Dublin attractions from there. If not, you can take public transportation.
This is a 3 star hotel so do not expect luxury because you won't get it. You get a room with a bed, private bath and shower. not much else. Room had a small TV with only 3 channels. Some lights did not work and sink drain was clogged. Not unusual for a 3 star hotel. Hotel is located in Temple Bar in the centre of Dublin. This area is party central so can get boisterous at night.

Hotel in Temple Bar

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Wifi, breakfast choice
The hotel is fine but, like most hotels in the centre of Dublin, is expensive for what you get. The facilities are fine and the room was comfortable. There were a couple of things that would have made it much better however - the wifi reception in the room was terrible to the point of being almost unusable. Many times I had to go down to reception to get emails and log on and, while this may be what was available, there was no facility for decent in room wifi access. The bar downstairs which was linked to the hotel was unable to charge to my room account which wasn't such a pain but means many more receipts to mess about with. I would recommend not paying for the 'full Irish breakfast' - there was very little choice and most of it was cold

Okay budget style hotel without any facilities

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Staff were friendly and it was great we could drop our bags off before we checked in as well as leaving them after we checked out for only €2. Room was very basic but clean. Had to turn radiator off as was like a waterfall was in the room. Banging music downstairs at times late on a Sunday night. Our room was next to some kind of air conditioning system or fan which was on all night. Pub was good and was nice to get a free drink on check in.

Good for city break

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: Simple and reasonably priced
Cons: Room was a little grubby, but didn't choose the hotel with the intentions of staying indoors.
Location: Temple Bar with lots of real 'tourist' Irish bars, with shopping areas within 20 min walk. Easy access to Sightseeing Bus.
Central to Temple Bar and within easy reach of other highlights of a short stay in Dublin
