“Roach Motel”
This place was awful. Our room was slanted and the toilet didn't flush! The windows didn't close either so we heard sirens and people coming out of pubs all night. It was as close to a roach motel and I could imagine. And it wasn't even that cheap. Will never stay there again.
“it's a bed”
there's a place to sleep, a bathroom, a locking door, a non-working television and some 20 year old carpet. No bugs, no colorful characters hanging around and there are lots of places to eat nearby. Like a rickety old house near campus, I felt like I was back in college. If you need a place to stay in Dublin, this will do.
“Don't stay here”
The sheets smelled like cigarette smoke, there were holes in them, the bathroom was dirty, hairs were everywhere, and you have to turn in the key at the front desk when you leave and pray that when you come back, nobody has locked the door to keep you out.

Area:
Temple Bar - Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland: This small enclave by the river was developed into Dublins Cultural Quarter in the 1980s, and soon became the citys nightlife centre. Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, its an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Hapenny Bridge, Merchants Arch retains some of the areas atmosphere from a century or so ago.
