“Very Pleased”
This was our first time to Dublin / Ireland. The location of the hotel was great. We were within walking distance all the major attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. My wife and I will make sure we stay here again, when you go back to Dublin in the future.
“It is the best!!”
Not only do they have very comfortable rooms, they are located on a quiet street that is in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere and had tons of choices when it came to eating, although the restaurant at the hotel was one of our favorites. We especially enjoyed the staff and although all were very helpfull and a pleasure to deal with we expecially enjoyed talking to Conor who gave us invaluable information on Dublin and the Irish. He has a great sense of humor and he always remembered our names!!
“Loved it! Perfect!”
The location couldn't have been more perfect, close to shopping, sites, great pubs. Staff was super friendly and helpful, just made my 4 night stay very enjoyable! The bar/lounge area was great to relax and catch up on email, with an excellent Irish coffee. The piano player added to the atmosphere. the rooms were charming, the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about this hotel...when I hopefully get back to Dublin, I will definitely be staying there again!!
“Brooks Hotel is wonderful, particularly its attentive staff”
We just returned from our first trip to Dublin. Unfortunately one suitcase was lost by our airline, and we depended on the front desk and evening staff to help find it by contacting the airline and repeatedly noting the urgency of our plight. Finally, on the third day the Brooks staff got the suitcase sent on to our next hotel. They could not have been more gracious. The rooms are wonderful, the hotel restaurant is excellent, the location in Dulbin is near shops, restaurants and theatres. It is a quite modern hotel, I can add. We will definitely return to the Brooks Hotel.
“Would definelty recommend to others.”
Have a nice restaurant with breakfast every monring. Great bar with intimate seating. In the basement they have a very nice library with free internet. The airline lost our luggage and the hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and accomodating in helping us to regain our luggage.
“Great hotel - definitely would stay again”
Great hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Very near Temple Bar, Grafton Steet, Theater District, Trinity College, and more. Only negative - the street it is on is not a main street and the rest of the street is slighty less than desireable - but is on the up swing. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.
“Excellent hotel”
Very high level of personal service, with extremely helpful concierge. Rooms were ready when we checked in at 10.00am. Central location. Very comfortable. Highly recommend as good value.
“Excellent Hotel”
Cannot fault the service, food, rooms, furnishings etc in this hotel. Good position in the city, only 10 minute walk from all the action, and quiet at night if you want to escape the noise of Temple Bar. Only one criticism - the hotel's heating. Everywhere was far too hot and stuffy. We had to have the air-con on at night in January in order to sleep comfortably.
“Nice Hotel, excellent host”
We were very pleased with the Brooks hotel. The people at the desk were very accommodating. The dining room was a little pricey, but good food. About 3 or 4 blocks from the Temple bar area where you find many nice restaurants. Also restaurants much closer. The Irish are very friendly and made our stay extremely comfortable.
“Wouldn't stay anywhere else!”
Perfectly situated, intimate hotel. The rooms are not large but beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great shower, hot and strong. The chief concierge Conor knew are names from day one and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Enjoy the experience.

Temple Bar - Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland: This small enclave by the river was developed into Dublins Cultural Quarter in the 1980s, and soon became the citys nightlife centre. Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, its an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Hapenny Bridge, Merchants Arch retains some of the areas atmosphere from a century or so ago.
