2 Days In Dublin

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Location and facilities.
Cons: Maybe a little upgrading.
Location: Its a close to most things, and they give you a good map.
The hotel is easy to find (Sat Nav), You can park right outside to offload bags, there's a multi car park across the road and the hotel has a 12 Euro/day deal with another a short walk away. Its central for everything, bars, cafe, and resturant are good.

Great central hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The attention to detail from the staff. It was our anniversary & they prepared a bottle of champagne in our room as requested!
Cons: I cant think of anything specific. There's nothing that stood out.
Location: Great central location, less than a minutes walk from Grafton St for shopping & there are countless bars & cafes within that radius alone!
The Brooks Hotel has a great central location and exceeded my expectations on all levels. We didnt try the breakfast buffet as there are so many cafes within walking distance. The room was clean & very comfortable. With this hotel I feel its the small details that make it! The heated mirror in the bathroom so it wont fog up. The "pillow menu" which was ideal for my wife & her duck feather allergy as well as the turn down service.

Lovely hotel, close to all amenities

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: It was professional but homely
Cons: The TV in room 606 needs looking at
Location: The location is perfect, in walking distance to the shopping areas, restaurants & pubs
We've just come back from a night at The Brooks Hotel booked as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. The staff were friendly & informative, the hotel was lovely & the service very good. My only gripe is that the TV jumped off the channel continually so would need looking at. Overall it was close to all local amenities & I'd definitely recommend it.

City Break

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable room, bed enormous (!), good shower and breakfast very good and good value.
Cons: The room was a bit dark, even with all the lights on, and the TV reception was not very good, although we didn't have it on much.
Location: As it is just outside Temple Bar it wasn't too noisy, but there were some great pubs and restaurants nearby.
Three night city break in Dublin, we found the location great - close to the sights and lively night life but not at all noisy (room faced front on the first floor).

We have stayed here many times and like the friendly staff, central location and ambience. Good breakfast. Only downside is the noisy plumbing!

Beautiful boutiquey hotel

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Stayed here for 1 night over the st Patricks celebrations for my friends birthday ! We were greeted by the hotel butler who took our suitcases immediately and directed us to reception! Staff really professional and friendly. We paid for deluxe interconnecting rooms, both we're decorated beautifully and with The White Company toiletries. Bits like this make such a difference. I would defiantly return here! Great location too. Whilst waiting for our cab to pick us up from the hotel to the airport we sat in The Restaurant and had a tea and cheesecake, again great service and chilled relaxed atmosphere. Can't rate this hotel highly enough.

4 star hotel in quiet area.

Posted Feb 28, 2015
We wanted a fine hotel within easy distance of Temple Bar and this suited us perfectly. We flew into Dublin airport, then used the 747 airport bus to get to the hotel. Unfortunately, when we got off the bus, we lost our bearings and weren't sure which way to go. We eventually got to the hotel and were pleased with the room, including 2 hairdryers, safe and refreshments. Although the queen bed (very big, but nice) appeared to be 2 mattresses put together, there was no noise outside and we both slept well. The shower head was too high and not adjustable, and the shower curtain kept getting in the way. The selection of food at breakfast was excellent. We would stay there again.

Central location....excellent accommodations

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: Friendliness of staff, location....everything
Cons: I would have booked the breakfast.
Location: The location is a few minutes away from the airport link bus stop. It is very central surrounded by shops, restaurants, sightseeing and bus stops.
We arrive at the the Brooks Hotel at 6 am and were shown a lovely comfortable lounge area where we could rest and gather our thoughts after a long flight. We were served tea by the staff and told to make our selves comfortable as our room was not ready. The was a huge rugby match in town so the hotel was booked up. We were also told that the concierge would be in at 7 and he would help us arrange for activities. Conor came to our aid, recommended an 11am walking tours with a fantastic guide and booked it for us. He gave us maps, recommended day trips, offered to help with restaurants and on and on. He was fantastic without being intrusive and he availed himself to us throughout the week. When we did get into our room, it was lovely. Very comfortable beds, choice of pillows from a menu, safe, refrig, plenty of towels, robes, hair dryer, everything we needed. All staff were smiling, pleasant, professional and extremely accommodating in all ways from bartenders to maids. Breakfast was not included in our rate and there was a bit of confusion about that. I wish I had looked into that before booking. The breakfast was quite good, extensive selection and would have been convenient but there were several good small places near by that worked for us as well.
