Small nice hotel, excellent for short visitPosted Jun 29, 2015
Cons: Proper hair dryer, bigger towels. Didn't notice the fitness centre details so this might be nice to see on home page.
Location: Plenty of boutique shops, cafes and places to drink. Ideal for a short visit.
Hotel was very nice and in an excellent area for eating and drinking. Dublin itself is not very big and you can walk most of the centre but the position of this hotel is perfect. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. However our room and as it turned out the whole floor had no air con. We were moved quite quickly but too a smaller room. We had booked two queen sized rooms/beds, and our son's room was defiantly not a queen sized room or bed. That said it was clean and tidy and had lovely bathroom extras. As always I would ask for larger or more towels. Anyone with even shoulder length hair will tell you that you can't get away with one bath towel and one tiny towel per person and whilst I realise that it is likely the hotel will loose hairdryers please replace the built in ones in the bathrooms. I would have dried my hair just as quick if my husband had blown it dry himself. We didn't eat breakfast here but it really looked very nice and the bar is great. It is a small but perfectly formed hotel and despite my niggles listed above I would probably stay here again.

Stayed two days at the beginning of our visit to Ireland and returned to Brooks because it was clean, quiet and centrally located for a reasonable rate.

okay in a pinchPosted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Its vicinity in dublin
Cons: A thorough rug cleaning
Location: pubs, shopping, and walking distance to any & all sights
Could use a bit of cleaning, especially the carpets. The desk staff needed some training to put the customer first. there was not much help in securing parking directions to a suggested parking lot. There was a little bit of an edge or condescension when faced with a problem...excuses

I had a wonderful stay at the Brooks Hotel. The location was perfect for seeing Dublin on foot. Centrally located and in a safe neighborhood. Quite at night but close to everything!
