Goede locatie, sfeervol, makkelijk bereikbaar.

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: locatie, ambiance

Posted May 4, 2015

Albergo confortevole in zona tranquilla

Posted May 4, 2015

Posted May 2, 2015
Lage zentral, gute Busanbindung. Schönes Georgianisches Haus mit Kellerpub und Lifemusik. Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Ritornerò........

Posted May 1, 2015

Reasonable, for a 2 star...

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Staff were excellent but the hotel is tired and in need of a complete re-vamp. Reasonably priced for a 2 star - definitely lacking the touches of a 3 star by a long way and should not be advertised as such. Beds very uncomfortable and didn't get a good nights sleep at all. The staff tried very hard to please and to make things right but struggled with what they had. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but the food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent and well worth a visit. Entertainment was also indicative of a 2 star budget hotel!

Beautifull old style hotel

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Cons: Maybe some more shelving in bathroom.
Location: Center of Dublin. Walk to all attractions. Buses outside the door.
I am from Dublin, now living in Canada. I have stayed in the Castle for two years running, I will be returning every year from now on, if they keep up the level of service I received. The staff is awesome. The breakfast is very well done (My cardiologist might not agree) Nice little pub in the basement. with live music most nights. There is also a restaurant in the basement. The food is on a par with anything, I have ever experienced before. The prices are very good. 25.00 Euro for a three course meal, with an Irish Coffee or a Baileys shot in cluded! The WIFI in the rooms is very strong. Being in the city center, means no car rental needed. Get yourself a leapfrog card which is good for the bus, the Lewis and the Dart. If your looking for real character in a place to stay, this is it.

Close to city center & public transportation

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Closeness to city center & public transport.
Cons: Make it more sound proof so you can't people or TV in next room.
I had high expectations from the hotel as described....though it's close to city center it's not close to Temple Bar area. Public transport is very accessible. The room I had was well furnished & bathroom clean however the room was not quite. The staff at the hotel was helpful.

Good location and pleasant staff

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: location, staff, cleanliness, value-for-money.
Cons: Nothing springs to mind.
Location: At the top of O'Connell street. Everything within 10 minutes walk. Use the Dart to go into Dun Laghoire, Howth or Bray. Take the Liffey River Cruise.
Hotel staff welcoming, room v spacious with a good-sized bathroom. The breakfast was very good with everything you could ask for provided. We were particularly pleased that there was a singer performing in the restaurant bar on the night we arrived so had unexpected live entertainment. The hotel also provides a luggage room which was useful for us as we had a late flight home.
