Relaxing break with Dublin at easy reachPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: High standards of service
Cons: Broader night service menu
Location: Quiet location but with pool and gym facilities in the hotel
We could not fault this hotel, we stayed there for 5 days and were impressed with the friendliness of all the staff together with the high standards of accommodation and services. It is out of Dublin which suited us and we took the regular public transport when we wanted to explore and enjoy Dublin without worrying about driving. Recommended.

Nice HotelPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Very classy.
Cons: Have air condition unit fitted on each room would be nice. The room temperature was quite warm without heater.
Overall a very nice hotel. However the waiter who served us dinner on our first night was no good, very impatient and not informative at all, we felt very unwelcome. The food was good though.

near phoenix parkPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: clean and modern
Cons: live music very loud in reception on Sunday night and not to our taste
Location: 25 euros to central Dublin by taxi
We were in Dublin for the Triathlon in Phoenix Park. This hotel was a very convenient 3.5 mile cycle to the event in the morning. Great facilities and very popular with families. It was very busy on the Saturday night but staff were coping well. Breakfast vouchers purchased at reception the evening before made it very good value for breakfast.

poor staff and petty charges ruined a nice eveningPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall, poor staffing and petty charges ruined a nice evening. €170 for bed without breakfast is very expensive in these times and to charge €13 for a continental breakfast and then be charged extra for a cappuccino is petty and counterproductive. We couldn't get a drink at either bar at the end of our evening as one bar was unstaffed and the other had only one bar staff and was over run. Very poor impression indeed.

Not for mePosted Aug 11, 2013
Cons: Location, broken swimming pool
Location: Miles away from anything
Miss sold holiday. 60 euro trip to go to the city and back. Swimming pool out of service. Room a long walk to get to. Only good thing is the breakfast and the serving staff!.
