Just outside Dublin

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Outside of the city, very peaceful. Easy access to the city, has a golf course, nice pool and workout facilities. Bar and restaurants on the premises.
Cons: A shuttle to and from the city would make this a perfect hotel to stay at in the Dublin area.
Location: Spent most of time in Dublin, did drive by a large shopping center about 5 min drive away multiple shops and restaurants, Dublin is 15-20 min drive
Overall very pleased with this hotel. It is very peaceful and quiet. Would have liked more time to relax at the hotel, always on the go trying to sightsee. Everything you could want is there, restaurants, bars, pool, gym, golf course and spa treatments. Its outside the city, but easily accessible by bus(5 MIn walk to bus stop the 37 line-takes 30-45min), train(5 min drive to stop) or taxi(20ish euro). The bartenders themselves almost made the trip worth it. Very engaging and helpful. Good breakfast selection, 10 euro if you stay at the hotel and coordinate the night before. If I every make it back to Dublin would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Hotel

The staff were amazing. The grounds were well kept. The pool was a perfect addition for my 6 year old. It was close to Dublin and major attractions with a country feel to relax in. The food was excellent.

Great place

Nice stay, would go again. Wearing swimming caps in the pool is not my jam but I believe that's a ROI thing anyway... Good spot to crash a wedding too if that's your thing.

An oasis.

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: what is there not too like.
Cons: a driving range
Location: a short drive to Dublin and all that Dublin has to offer. We spent the weekend mainly at the hotel as we were just looking to relax.
A really nice long weekend spent here. The hotel was spotless, the staff really helpful and polite. Great golfing too, although a shame that there isn't a driving range.

Beautiful hotel, great weekend break

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Cons: Swimming hats are expensive, especially if only using the pool once or twice. As they are a requirement by the hotel they should be included in price.
Highly recommend this hotel. Absolutely beautiful and great quality for the price I paid. The staff were lovely and our hotel room was very spacious and extremely clean. The hotel breakfast was lovely and staff were very helpful at all times. Hotel is located in a lovely area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close to the village of Castleknock and Blanchardstown which has a great shopping centre and a selection of restaurants. Short drive to the centre of Dublin. Would definitely stay at this hotel again, highly recommend.

Nice hotel but rooms need updating

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The grounds
Cons: The bedrooms
Location: Short taxi ride to Dublin City Centre
Hotel was very nice if you were just in the bar or lobby but the rooms are very dated and have no air con. You can't open the window due to the sound of generators so it can be uncomfortable. The hotel is very clean though and the grounds are gorgeous.
