Castle KnockPosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The food, drinks, and spa were very good. The golf course was also enjoyable, while challenging.
Cons: The internet connection could definitely be strengthened throughout the hotel.
Location: The location was a 15 minute drive to downtown Dublin and very accessible.
Really nice layout of a hotel with rooms and amenities that are pretty good. The Spa is extremely nice and the hotel is within close walking distance to the course. The only thing I didn't like was the internet connection, which could be described as weak, at best.

Excellent hotel but hard to findPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: It was lovely
Location: The address could not be entered into our sat nav which made it impossible to find. Locals in town very helpful!
Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and lots of grand facilities.

Tranquillity in DublinPosted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: Placed well for either city touring or travelling further afield
Cons: Allocating corrected charges to the rooms
Location: As above
Situated in the suburbs of Dublin this very pleasant made a good escape from the hustle and bustle of Dublin City Centre. Accessible by bus to the city centre (route 37) this was ideal for touring the city without having try and park there. Did not have time to use the spa as too busy exploring Ireland. Only downside is that we had to scrutinise the additional items on our bill as there were charges that were not related to us at all.

Excellent location for Dublin ZooPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: The Staff were excellent!
Cons: We did have to wait a while for our bar food!
Location: Blanchards Town centre is a 5 minute drive and Dublin Zoo is 10 minutes away.
This is a great hotel for families! The staff were extremely helpful and efficient, the buffet breakfast hosted a great selection of beverages, cereals, cooked meats, cheeses. fruit and of course hot breakfast items too! The room was perfect. My son had a single bed instead of a sofa which some hotels class as a family room! The outdoor area is great and the setting is lovely. Our room overlooked the golf course. It was a short 10 minute drive to Dublin zoo and although we didn't avail of this service, the hotel will a provide a picnic on request! Would definitely go back!

Was for business as i was on a coursePosted May 2, 2014
The quality of lighting in the rooms was very poor, I needed to study and prepare assignments during my stay and found the fact that there was no ceiling lighting very difficult.

Close to DublinPosted Apr 28, 2014
Pros: The room was recently updated and the bathroom was great because it had heated floors.
Cons: Have fluffier pillows
Location: If you like to play golf this is an ideal place. The course is beautiful and is a challenge.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. On my arrival I forgot my converter and the front desk gave me one to use during my stay. It can get a bit noisy and crowded on the weekends since they do a lot of weddings. We had a car so visiting the center of Dublin was convenient. My family and I enjoyed coming out of the city and having a quiet place to sleep.

Lovey BreakPosted Apr 23, 2014
We enjoyed 3 nights stay at Castleknock Hotel with my husband ,16 and 12 year old. The hotel at first impression looks very impressive and is lovely my only critic would be as polite as the staff are some may be in need of further training with service. You can catch the bus into Dublin (takes about 30 mins) or a taxi for about 20 euro, and when there lots to see and do. We will come be back, but would get a hotel closer to Dublin.
