Good for weekendPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: My room was spacious and the food was good.
Cons: I prefer a slightly softer mattress and pillow to the ones provided.
Location: If you don't play golf, take a €20 taxi ride into Dublin where you should find plenty to interest you.
This hotel was comfortable and convenient for a wedding at Luttrellstown. It had the added bonus of a swimming pool and spa.

Booked but no room!Posted Nov 11, 2014
When we arrived we did not have a room! According to the hotel Expedia did not send the booking through to them. We arrived late ( about 10 pm), no room available as the hotel was fully booked. The hotel staff was very apologetic, very helpful to try and find another hotel, however most hotels in Dublin were fully booked. Eventually I found another hotel through another booking site, but at much higher price. It was not a pleasant experience, especially as I booked this hotel on the 6 th of October in order to get a good price (and a room!) as I was aware that Dublin would be very busy due to the international rugby match.

Just outside DublinPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Outside of the city, very peaceful. Easy access to the city, has a golf course, nice pool and workout facilities. Bar and restaurants on the premises.
Cons: A shuttle to and from the city would make this a perfect hotel to stay at in the Dublin area.
Location: Spent most of time in Dublin, did drive by a large shopping center about 5 min drive away multiple shops and restaurants, Dublin is 15-20 min drive
Overall very pleased with this hotel. It is very peaceful and quiet. Would have liked more time to relax at the hotel, always on the go trying to sightsee. Everything you could want is there, restaurants, bars, pool, gym, golf course and spa treatments. Its outside the city, but easily accessible by bus(5 MIn walk to bus stop the 37 line-takes 30-45min), train(5 min drive to stop) or taxi(20ish euro). The bartenders themselves almost made the trip worth it. Very engaging and helpful. Good breakfast selection, 10 euro if you stay at the hotel and coordinate the night before. If I every make it back to Dublin would definitely stay again.
