“Our stay just outside Dublin.”

Over all we were very satisfied with our stay at the Clarion Liffey Valley. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Just ask. The mall was very close, within walking distance to the hotel. Starbucks is there too. If you are used to cream in your coffee most places do have it but you will have to ask for it. The bus system, which brings you into Dublin, was also just a short walk away. Which is great if you choose not to rent a car. The only downside I can see to this hotel is the plumbing system. But then again I think perhaps it's a problem all over Ireland. (The toilets just don't flush the way they do in the USA.)

“A great place to stay in Dublin”

Good place to stay although 25 mins outside city centre. It is about 20 to 30 minutes from Dublin airport and there is a FlyBus service from there - cheaper than taxi. Great gym facilities which are free to guests and a good way to relax. There are really well decorated rooms which are a great place to come back to after a long day sightseeing etc. Hotel staff are very helpful and very friendly.

“Will return.”

We arrived and requested a cot and were asked immediately if we would be more comfortable in a studio/appartment because of the age of our kids and this worked out very well as we could feed the kids as needed within the well equiped kitchen which also had all necessary facilities for a weekend for the family

“Excellent place to stay in Dublin”

Great hotel. On arrival was given suite when I had only booked a room. The suite eas bigger than my flat!!! Could only make 2 wee niggles, but really am splitting hairs: 1) some of the furniture in the room was badly put together and / or poorly repaired 2) Location was a bit further from the city centre than expected. There is a bus stop close by but bus drivers are very grumpy and only take coins, not 5Euro notes. Overall, very very good hotel.

“good price, great hotel, just out of the city center.”

room was clean and well maintained. Newer hotel, nice rooms. Good staff, make sure you talk to the conceirge right off the bat and ask any questions you have. This is a great place to stay if you rented a car or if you don't mind a short walk to the bus. Denfinately not walkable to town. Short walk to liffey valley mall which is nice also. Would definately stay there again.

“Free Internet in rooms, fitness center...”

This place was great; comfortable rooms, good price, free parking and internet (ethernet cable provided for laptops). A little far from Dublin, but right next to a huge mall and expanding shopping complex, so it's not too hard to get in by bus.

“Nice hotel with good connection to Dublin town centre”

Nice hotel, very helpful staff. I arrived 2 hours earlier than official check out time and it was no problem, I could check in straight away. Very good value hotel.

“fabulous hotel in all aspects”

Recently spent a long weekend here. We were a bit apprehensive after reading reviews on this hotel prior to our visit but our experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Everything was first class at a very reasonable price. Food was very good in both restaurants and quite affordable. Value for money - room cleaned every day with bed linen and towels changed daily. We couldn't have expected any better. We would definitely go back!

“Clarion Lifey Valley”

This hiotel is somewhat new and is very nice and clean. It is a little under 9 miles north from City Centre. Definitely get a bus pass. To catch the bus you will go out from the hotel and aroiund teh corner by a restaurant called Lemongrass. (We actually ate here. Kind of pricey, but food was ok) when you get to the sidewalk, turn to your right. Go down until you see a round about of sorts before the bridge. Cross the road and go under the bridge. At teh traffic light, cross the street and turn to your left and the bus stop is right there. 25a, 66, 67 will take you into town. About a 30 minute ride. TAXI's - will cost between 15 - 18 Euros depending on where you are going. Hotel Bar - Kudo's was good food and a fun atmosphere. The Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Oh and the Starbucks is at the Liffey Valley Shopping Mall. Out of the hotel and turn left, go down the street until you get to a main road and you will see the mall across the street. (Note) Starbucks opens at 8:30am and closes around 7pm.
