Nice hotel however,Posted Jul 22, 2014
Me and a few friends stayed on a Friday/Saturday and were literally stalked by the bouncer/security all night -despite doing nothing wrong other than being young men I assume- who seemed intent on provoking us. I even heard him joke to his co worker about how we'd be sleeping on the streets, when the wolloper didn't realise I was standing right behind him. Really nice hotel/bar/restaurant and staff but more subtle security is needed.

Good time at clarionPosted Jul 21, 2014
The hotel is very clean and we'll maintained. I found the staff to be friendly . I did not have breakfast but was told by other guests it was very good There was also a pool for the guests to use. As my daughter was swimming in a 5 day gala at the NAC I did not want to pass the toll on the M50 4-5 times a day. I emailed the hotel a few days before the trip to find out if there was a way to avoid the Toll by using another route. The only information I got Back was the web address of eflo on how to pay a Toll. There was a large num of swimmers from different clubs staying at the hotel all heading to the NAC and back each day. This gala happens every year So the hotel should try and provide helpful information to the swimmers For available routes to the NAC. Also there is a 4 euro charge to park your car for more than 3 hours in the hotel car park. This is clearly a money making exercise and really annoyed me and other guests having to pay it.

Fantastic Hotel Close to DublinPosted Jul 17, 2014
The Clarion Liffey Valley was the perfect hotel for us because we had a rental car for getting around. If you won't have a car you may want to look at options right in Dublin instead. The gym and pool area here is outstanding if you're like us and use those facilities while traveling. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Since it is a big hotel on the outskirts of Dublin, with ample parking for tour busses, it can get rather loud depending on the group that comes in. We were on the main floor close to reception and definitely needed earplugs for two of the nights. I recommend asking for a room in the back of the hotel instead.

Very good Hotel near Dublin Ring roadPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Good value room price for a quality hotel.
Location: Good shopping centre with McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks and usual electrical shops and banks. Easy access to M50 and all routes around Dublin.
This hotel is reasonably priced because it is away from the city centre. It is a good 4 star hotel with an underground car park ( 4 Euro overnight) and has good access to M50 ring road and N4. There is a great shopping centre nearby and choice of reasonably priced food at walking distance restaurants. This includes a Lemongrass Chinese with 22 Euro 3 course menu and 16 euro 2 course steak restaurant. The rooms are of a good quality and there is free internet. The Hotel dining is a la carte and charges 3 times the price for food so it is best to eat nearby.

Nice hotel but difficult to reach city centerPosted Jul 8, 2014
The hotel is nice, clean, we did not use the gym/pool. The only thing for which i would not reco the hotel for a city break is because it is difficult to reach the city center. Anyway, in case you need to reach the city center you can take bus 40 (bus stop in front of the shopping center), it takes around 1h, 1h and 20mins.

Convenient for driving to - just off M50.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Cons: Breakfast is quite expensive and seems to be lukewarm rather than hot! Could be improved.
Nice comfortable location for an overnight stay. Easy to get to by car as it's just off the M50. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Brilliant hotelPosted Jun 1, 2014
Had the best time here, staff were very helpful and welcome I don't think I walked past one staff member without them saying hello. Extremely close too liffey valley shopping centre and buses into the city centre are regular and very cheap! Airport bus runs every hour from hotel door! Food was amazing, rooms were lovely and will defiantly be back

Not very happyPosted May 20, 2014
My window was broke in my room so I could not open it . The shower hose was also broke . When I turned it on it went flying around the place and drowned everything in the bathroom . I was staying on a business trip and will be having to go to Dublin in the future . My meeting was at 11 which 3 times I checked with staff they said at 9 ... The room was booked for 9 but the meeting was 11 so I was badly informed . Reception could do with a small days training in communications .
