Useful location for Sandyford Industrial estate

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Location, room cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast, when not included in the room rate was handled very awkwardly and I ha to explain a couple of times that i did want breakfast and to add it
Location: Close to Vodafone offices and a DIY centre.
This hotel is very convenient for business visitors to Sandyford. My room was clean and spacious, although the bathroom was showing signs of wear. Some four star hotel standard items were missing e.g. washcloths, dispoable shower caps, tissues. The safe was a little too small to take my laptop. There was little noise heard from the hotel corridors but in an outward facing room the traffic noise was bothersome from about 5am. The provision of hairdryer and iron/ironing board in the room was helpful. The restaurant and breakfast were both fine.

Fint hotell med mycket bra service.

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Trevlig stad. Trevliga och mycket hjälpsamma människor .

Comfortable Hotel

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Friendly, good services and ease of city / airport access.
Cons: Better room ventilation in the summer. Room can be stuffy with windows closed but traffic noise a problem with windows open
Location: Location great for Leopardstown racing, shopping at Dumdrum or city access via the Luas Line
First time staying at the former Bewleys Hotel since the ownership change. I have always enjoyed the location of this hotel which fits my business needs and also gives me the convenience to easy city access when I'm being the tourist. It has always been a good comfortable hotel with excellent helpful and genuinely friendly staff. Room size and cleanliness are good and the furnishing and bedding of good quality. Free wifi throughout is also very useful. For those with vehicles there's plenty of secure parking under the building. For those without, Aircoach will get you to and from the city or Airport and the Luas (Green Line) Central Park is only a couple of minutes walking distance

A comfortable week while visiting for work. Very well placed for LUAS into the centre of Dublin too.

Managing for profit

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: All the amenities of a 3-star tourist hotel.
Cons: Better quality food raw materials and more expensive mattresses.
Location: Good connections with Dublin Airport by bus and City Centre by urban rail system. Open surroundings with scenic views
Conditions seemed more extractive than during my last visit in Dec 2014. The ingredients of breakfast tasted of low quality. The bed was uncomfortably hard.

Unfair practice

Posted Apr 30, 2015 on Hotels
Booked with hotels.com and agreement was payment to be taken on arrival at hotel in euros. I have just discovered on my credit card statement that hotel debited a sterling amount on the day before my arrival. It is NEVER beneficial to the customer to allow hotel to fix exchange rate and I did not agree to it. Difference in price was over 5%.
