Centrally locatedPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Central location to many of the sites of Dublin.
Cons: New windows please....the volume from outside was so loud at times it felt like there was nothing there. Also a top bed sheet, not just the comforter.
Location: Trinity College and Temple Bar are just a block away.
The hotel is in a great place of the city, you can walk to many of the attractions. The biggest problem is that the wall/window to the outside is VERY thin. Our first night there was an alarm going off outside (somewhere) for 9 hours, and the following two nights you could hear the people talking outside. We, however, did not hear a peep from the surrounding rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was a comfortable size. The shower was exceptionally great - lots of hot water and great water pressure. :)

Ideal locationPosted Feb 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Swapping shower curtains for cubicles.
Travelling with a colleague, this hotel is great for access to airport transport, for TCD and for getting around Dublin. Incredibly good value for money, the staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and warm. Food in the Trinity Bar was tasty and very reasonably priced.

Would NOT recommend to anyone.Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Windows, general decoration and furnishings.
Location: Dublin city centre an ideal place to be, lots to do close by.
Hotel in dire need of an update, double glazing a must. Decor needs updated.

Awesome Location!Posted Jan 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had a great stay at the Citi Hotel! The hotel is in the middle of the action of Temple Bar and walking distance to many of the historical sites. Trinity Bar had really good food at affordable prices too. The room was super clean but a little on the small side but what it lacked in luxe was made up for by location.

NoisyPosted Oct 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
On our two weekday night stays we found each evening that the noise from revelry in the hotel and in the streets was unendingly loud until about 3 a.m. At that point, there was a brief interval of an hour or two and then very loud noises from trucks picking up beer kegs. The traffic noise is loud, but to be expected on a major thoroughfare. The yelling and partying is not so easy to deal with.

Embedded in the life of the cityPosted Oct 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Last minute booking, conference stay, staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room over the bar next door, music so-so, loud up to midnight. No in-house catering but plenty just next door; Citi-bikes a great facility just round the corner. It served the purpose.
