“A very good choice”

I found the hotel to be very pleasant and comfortable. Good location - walking distance to maun attractions and buses ckose by, but also gave opportuniy to see and enjoy other areas that had a lot to offer. Pub attached to hotel very good and other good reataurants nearby. I found staff to be pleasant and helpful. Tarrif was very good through on line booking and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

“A Great Find”

We stayed here for 7 days and were extremely pleased with the accomodations.Located close to the Dart Station if using public transit and arriving from Dun Lagoire ferry. And also a pleasant walk of about 10- 15 minutes to the City Centre.Lovely neighbourhood along the Canal. We walked everywhere. The rooms were modern, spacious, clean and very well kept. Lovely large bathroom. Staff very professional and helpful.

“Great place to stay”

Great hotel, within easy reach of Dublin centre.Really good bar attached to hotel which served excellant food and drink.I would recommend walking along the main rd to the city centre rather than takin the canal route as it is far quicker. We also found the dart across the road usefull for getting around.

“Great place to stay”

It was a perfect place to use as a base for our stay in Dublin. The facilites are first class, as are the staff. Nothing is a problem to the staff, and the attached pub is topp class with excellent staff, food, drinks and welcome!! Wel done!!

“Graduation holiday”

My parents and grandparents flew to Dublin for my graduation ceremony, and I booked them 3 nights at the Grand Canal Hotel. We couldn't be happier. The service was excellent, the adjacent bar was very convinient and the food served within was also quite good. There was an underground parking garage which was very convinient as we had a rental. The neighbourhood doesn't have much going on except the grand canal theatre a few minutes away, but as my grandparents are elderly, they weren't really interested in hitting the town anyway. All things considered this was a very good hotel, very clean, modern, with free wifi and great staff. The location is good for business travelers and those looking for something slightly outside the core.

“Great place to stay!”

The staff were absolutely wonderful--they were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious even by American standards, let alone European ones; very clean and even had bathrobes there for your use. It's about a 20 minute walk to Grafton Street or any of the main attractions, but there is a DART station close by and if you have one of the tour bus tickets, Merrion Square is not so far. I would definitely stay there again if I can make it back to Dublin!
