This was a great hotel close to downtown and bus.

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Central location was great.
Location: Bars, coffee shops, and restaurants as well as the Aviva stadium were all within walking distance.
Because of the proximity to downtown we were able to walk to major attractions like Temple Bar, Trinity College, Grafton Street. A shuttle to the airport was available for only 4 Euros. An Irish Breakfast was served every day at a price less than most places. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very quiet despite being on a busy street. All in all a great stay.

Nice hotel near the Grand Canal

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Location: Nice cafe nearby and a weekly food market on Wednesdays at the Waterways centre
Nice hotel, well positioned in a quiet, well heeled area near the Grand Canal. Only a short 20-25 minute walk into the historic centre of Dublin. We went for a city break and it served us very well.

Nice hotel within walking distance of city centre.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: In a city where everything is fairly expensive, I felt I got my money's worth here.
Location: The city centre can be reached with a leisurely 20 minute walk, so you are close to everything.
We stayed several days. Rooms were clean and spacious. Close to city centre with parking. pleasant staff. Easy access to airport shuttle bus. Nice restaurant and bar.

Central Dublin location good access to Ireland

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Irish breakfast and Gasworks bar.
Cons: Decor a bit dated.
Location: Good access to central Dublin and r. Liffey. Good access to all parts fo ireland. Nearby. Guiness brewery, etc.
Problem arising from delayed Ryanair flight included 40 euro excess from Eurocar for late arrival. However, hotel still open and straight into our room by 3:00am.

a wonderful experience

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Please see above
Cons: The laundry. The towels were not always changed but when I asked for fresh ones they were replaced
Location: the location was convenient and close to buses there was a regular hourly bus that left for the airport at reasonable cost
The breakfasts were some of the best I've ever had with a great range of food including gluten and dairy free. The staff were polite and very helpful There is a smart tv which was an added bonus

Good Hotel on the outskirts of Dublin city centre

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Free car park and easy walking distance to Dublin conference centre.
Cons: The gasworks is a good pub if you want a snack and drink at night but needs to cater better for hotel guests in the evening. i.e. Carvery at night?
Location: Easy to get to from the Port ,near the Theatres and plenty of restaurants near the river. Near the ring roads for car travel around the city.
This hotel is within walking distance of the conference centre and has a free car park which is not often found in Dublin. It is a simple but comfortable hotel with everything you need for a reasonable price. The gasworks pub does a limited range of food with good portion sizes if you fancy a burger , Chips and Pint but is expensive for what you get so I would take a trip into the town centre. The hotel is near the Theatre and it is a 15 minute walk up to the river and some restaurants near the canal entrance. Overall I would say it is a 3 star plus hotel with free internet and easy access from the port side of town.
