Very close to the O2 with shuttle bus to concert.Posted Apr 21, 2014
We stayed at this hotel on the weekend that Status Quo were playing in O2 Sat 12 April. We found check in very quick & friendly, we had lunch here & it was reasonably priced & tasty. Our room was very comfortable & breakfast the following morning was really good with big selection to choose from. Car parking was also perfect & free! Will definitely return.

Nice hotel in a great locationPosted Apr 14, 2014
Very nice hotel in a great location for the theatre (they offer a shuttle bus for €5 but it's less than 10mins walk to the Bord Gais theatre) and only a short walk into Grafton Street and the city centre. Free parking is also a perk.

Nice hotel with parking facility.Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: That it had its own car parking located beneath the hotel.
Cons: The bath in the bathroom was all scratched & the surface peeling off it.
Location: The location is a good 20 minute walk from the city centre. There is a train station across the road & 50 feet down the side street.
The staff were extremely helpful & full of information. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel was great. The food & service were very good.

Stay at this Hotel!Posted Mar 25, 2014
Staff is super friendly and the location is not too far from the party scene in Dublin, left one hotel with reservations to specifically return to the Grand Canal because it's a place where you can enjoy Ireland and feel safe. Breakfast is great and offers something for everyone. The bar in the hotel has some really great items to choose from and awesome live entertainment. Grand Canal WILL be the place I book on my next trip to Ireland.

Great Place To StayPosted Mar 23, 2014
Great hotel! Comfy and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Cheap and yummy full Irish breakfast or continental breakfast. Near the city center. They offer at a bus to the airport for €4.

Great stay, no shuttle busPosted Mar 11, 2014
Nice hotel, lovely staff. No shuttle to O2 as advertised and hated the shower as it sprayed everywhere and couldn't be detached from the wall to prevent this happening

Comfortable stay over New Year's EvePosted Jan 8, 2014
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and we did not have any troubles with loud neighbors or outside noise. I did email the hotel with a request for a higher floor room facing the Aviva Stadium (to avoid any street noise or noise from the pub downstairs) and that is exactly what I was given. The only caveat I have is that it is slightly out of the way from the city center. It took either a 20 min walk or a 20 min walk north to the Luas red line. The DART is not worth using as it doesn't take you into the center of town. The hotel is wonderful, but if you are looking to do all of the tourist sites, I would use a hotel closer to the center of Dublin.

Just perfectPosted Jan 6, 2014
Perfect location for theatre, just a short walk. Lovely lobby area. Nice bar/restaurant attached. Great having free parking. Couldn't fault it at all. Thanks for a lovely stay. Would definitely stay again.

Near Aviva and quiet location.Posted Dec 10, 2013
Cons: Plug for bath. Perhaps they prefer you to use the shower over the bath and to stop the bath overflowing.
Location: By Grand canal and Aviva stadium. Short walk the centre of Dublin and theatres.
Lovely hotel, clean room and great Irish breakfast. First time I have had a quiet hotel in Dublin, yet easy to walk to centre of Dublin in 15 to 20 minutes. Ideal if you are going to the Aviva stadium to see a match. There is a free car park at the hotel , which is a real bonus in Dublin. Good pub in the hotel and found a nice local pub called Scruffy Murphys 5 minutes from hotel. I had a nice meal in the hotel pub and got the food very quickly, about 10 minutes from ordering. I will be back to this hotel.

Close to Aviva not too far from the city centrePosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: The helpful and friendly staff, facilities and proximity to transport.
Location: Pub next door is worth a visit. Only 20 minutes to the Aviva stadium.
I came to Dublin for a night, to watch the rugby at Aviva Stadium. Getting to the hotel early (10am) I was pleasantly surprised to be able to go straight to my room. The reception staff were very help and attentive and helped me book my early bus to the airport the next morning. The room was small and functional and had everything I needed for my short stay.
