Lovely hotel, but can be noisyPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Very central with a bus stop outside linking you to the city. Great rooms.
Cons: More clarity on impact of the night club downstairs.
Location: We had a lovely dinner at the Morehampton Brasserie about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The Hampton Hotel is really lovely and very well located. The rooms are well done and everything is very comfortable. The only down side is the noise from the nightclub below. We called in advance of making the booking to check if the night club was open and were told that is was closed on Fridays in October. However, when we arrived back from dinner it was definitely open with very loud music. Unfortunately we had to ask to move rooms as we would never have been able to sleep through it (the club closes as 3am). Credit to the staff, they made a plan and we switched to a room at the far side of the hotel and couldn't hear a thing. So, great hotel, but definitely check about the nightclub and request a quiet room!

Great hotel, walk to the heart of DublinPosted Oct 4, 2014
Loved this hotel. Staff were super. Our fourth floor room was very comfortable and quiet, with large bathroom and a comfortable bed. If you find it necessary to take a rental car into Dublin the hotel has plenty of secure parking. Restaurant and bar where good and reasonably priced. I don't have a bad thing to say about this place but have heard the weekend disco can get a little noisy.

Top Quality at a reasonable price!Posted Sep 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were travelling around Ireland for 2 weeks with Dublin as our last stop. Throughout the trip, we were trying to balance decent quality at a decent price. This hotel far surpassed our expectations! Bed bigger than kingsize, remote control fireplace, surround sound system and good quality bathroom. Service was top notch too!

Many nice touchesPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Decor, large washroom and cleanliness.
Cons: The elevator is very small and slow.
Location: The location is very quiet. We enjoyed the walk through the neighbourhood and we also walked to St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street.
The room was pleasing with upbeat decor and colours. The bathroom was very large and clean with double basins and even a towel warmer. Overall, the room was clean and quiet. The restaurant served great food at reasonable prices.

Lovely hotel in DublinPosted Sep 7, 2014
We just came back from Dublin and enjoyed our stay a lot. As it was my husband birthday we were upgraded to a wonderful appartment. The room and barhroom were very big and clean. The hotel is located around 15 min walk from st stephen green. Breakfast wasnt included and that was a shame.
