Not as close to the airport as I'm used to. Shuttle service was an important feature. All and all a nice hotel

Night in Dublin before heading south

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: i really liked the Staff, Location, Price.
Cons: It would have been nice if there was a swimming pool.
Location: I don't think there was too much in the area but that didn't bother us much as we arrived late and were leaving the next morning.
Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. the meal we had in the bar area was excellent, would thoroughly recommend.

Good location for airport hotel

Posted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Proximity to airport yet well away from bustle of the airport. Good public transport links to downtown Dublin.
Very competent and friendly staff. The free shuttle from the airport takes only ten minutes direct to the hotel and the return fare is a nominal 2 euro. The buffet breakfast is extensive and the rooms are clean and well-equipped.

Great stay :)

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Open, big and clean rooms.
Cons: Staff could be a little more welcoming or pleasant when checking in or out.
Location: relatively close to airport using shuttle bus.
Room was absolutely lovely and very very clean. Great amount of space too. Restaurant/bar was busy and had live entertainment which was enjoyable. Great reliable transfer shuttle bus to airport for only 2euro. Overall a great and peaceful stay.

Dublin airport layover hotel

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: It is a middle of the road hotel with some warts. The room was clean and reasonable spacious.
Cons: Aircon, food and unreasonable nickle dime charges.
Location: Fly in or out.
I booked a room at the Dublin Airport Hilton for our last night in Ireland prior to departure the following morning. The room was a good size and clean. Unfortunately the aircon did not work, which I did not realize until 2 am when we woke up in a sweat. The windows are fixed so no relief there. A few other issues with this hotel. Internet is an additional charge which is unusual in middle of the road hotels. There is a 2 euro charge for the shuttle to the airport which is also unusual in my experience. I returned my car the evening before to save a few minutes then found I was out an extra 4 Euro's. The hotel restaurant is mediocre at best and a bit pricey. I had a salad nicoise. I have not had canned tuna in this dish at any decent place in the past but there it was. My son had a burger and fries which were fine but on the expensive side, as was the wine by the glass and beer. Nothing within walking distance other than fast food.

Airport convenient plus shops nearby.

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Title says it
Room comfort spoilt by generator type noise throughout most of night - hotel management made aware. Otherwise score would have been 4. Failed to make the wake up call!

Close to some shops

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Near to the airport but also near some shops.
Cons: Lighting at mirrors in bedroom.
Very pleasant. Staff friendly and courteous. Courtesy bus driver stopped at terminal 2 which was very good as we had a lot of luggage.

Great airport and city centre hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Breakfast
Location: Great for the airport and city centre (about half an hour away on the bus)
We stayed in this hotel for our weekend break in Dublin. It's close to the airport and the airport shuttle bus was very handy. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. Just a short walk away (less then 5 mins) is the bus stop which takes you straight into the centre of Dublin. Takes about half an hour on the bus. We had no problems. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to people.
