“Excellent hotel”

Very clean and spacious room. Dining room staff was very friendly and helpful. Tram station to city centre only 6 mins walk.

very good hotel. a little bit out of the city, but a tram close by to take you directly there. also the zoo is just up the road and the guinness storehouse is close by aswell.

“A good quality hotel”

The location from the city centre was a slight concern from reading other reviews but was fine for a weekend visit with my mother. If travelling with friends for the nightlife it might not be so convenient. The air conditioning system was my only real gripe as it didn't seem to just switch off it was either air con or heat. Hotel staff were busy or didn't seem to be around to ask for help. Otherwise a very clean and comfortable modern style hotel. Gym and pool were great and well maintained.

A very good hotel if a little off the beaten path. In a good area and accessible by car to all directions in and out of the city.

“A Great Find”

The Hilton Kilmainham is uniquely located close to many of Dublin's attractions. While it may not be on the main street (O'Connell, it is in easy walking distance of such attractions like the Kilmainham Gaol, the Modern Art Museum, Phoenix Park, the Dublin Zoo, and many of the bus stops and the Luas(Dublin's Tram Service). The Hilton staff are friendly and knowledgable, able to give guests directions to their favorite sites of interest. Rooms are kept neat and clean with the service staff cleaning them twice a day if necessary. If you need to continue to work out and exercise while staying in Dublin, their Living Well Spa offers exercise equipment, a pool, jacuzzi and a sauna. While the food in the restaurant is a bit pricey, it is well prepared and very good. Overall, the Hilton Kilmainham is a great find in Dublin and a wonderful place to stay while exploring Dublin.

“Nice new hotel, with a few things they need to improve”

The Hilton Dublin Kilmainham is immaculate. It's brand new, and clean as a whistle. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the city, but only a short drive away. The staff were very nice and accomodating. Our complaints were: The front desk did not have enough help...it usually only had one person working at a time, and during the busy hours it would result in people having to wait in a line. Also, there were a few times we had to call the front desk from our room and they never answered the phone...probably due to the fact that they were under staffed at the front desk...The continental breakfast was awful. The food was terrible, and very over priced. The breakfast was offered from 7 am until 10 am and we arrived at 9:45 am. It was a buffet, with so little choices of food, and the choices were all bad, with the exception of the scrambled eggs which were fine. We felt as though because it was towards the end of the breakfast that they did not come out with any fresh hot dishes to choose from, so there was practically nothing left to eat...but they did charge us FULL price. After our experience with breakfast we decided not to eat there at all again.

“Great Place to Stay”

Great hotel. Right outside the Kilmainham jail and hop-on hop-off bus tours. Close to Dublin bus station. Super friendly staff. When called and asked for more towels they were delivered in minutes! Would stay here again!!

“Extremely impressed!!”

Hotel Kilmainham was a great place to stay!!The service was great and all the staff in the hotel were really friendly.They were able to tell myself and my boyfriend where to go to eat and which places to see.The room service was quick and efficient and our room was cleaned everyday.The only downside about this hotel was that it was just outside the city centre, but it wasn't so bad as there is a tram station 5 minutes down the road which takes you to the city centre and only costs 3 euros return. There is also a city tours bus stop just across the road which takes you to all the major attractions in dublin, for example, temple bar, dublin zoo and guiness storehouse. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is quite pricey and there isn't a large selection of food to choose from. There is an italian restaurant across the road and a spar shop is just a 2 minute walk away, which is great if you want to buy a few drinks and nibbles. There is a gym and swimming pool in the hotel which is great if you fancy a relaxing day. I definately recommend this hotel and I will be going back there.

“dublin graduation trip”

I arrived one day before the rest of our party (daughter and friends). The staff noticed 2 reservations with same name asked if we were related and put us in neighboring rooms. Really nice , since I had made the 2 reservations aabout 3 weeks apart,
