“Great find”

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the main part of Dublin but not too close to be disturbed by noise. Very clean, good food & bar. Made to feel welcome.

the staff at st george were very helpful, we were reccommended a nice pub a few blocks away called the celt which had live irish music and nice dinner. breakfast was good, it was a pleasant stay.

The location was certainly perfect as we did not rent a car and literally in Dublin Center. Bus and trains at the doorstep. The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. The hotel was a bit older then I would have preferred and had an old smell in the hallways.Room was adequate but quite small. The bathroom had a stand-up shower and not being used to this particular type, I found I was battling water on the floor constantly.Lot of old rugs but clean. It was attractively priced and located centrally and would stay there again but request a bit larger room.

“Pleasant hotel and staff”

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Eg. I phoned a week before my visit to request a babysitter. One was arranged, with the hotel calling me back, on an international call, within the hour.

i stayed here 6 nights while traveling alone. wonderful staff and the most accomodating hotel service i have ever had. Very kind, always was able to help. really great location. very short walk to everything but not in the very centre where it would be noisy like the temple bar. . I had a nice quiet stay. Room was simple and clean and cared for everyday. It was a little cold in my room, but overall it felt like a nice home away from home. i would highly recommend if you are looking for a simple nice place to stay while your traveling

“Convenient location”

Very helpful staff, convenient location, not a luxury hotel, but a good, clean base for a short break in Dublin.

“Reasonable value for the price charged.”

This is definitely a budget hotel but the helpfulness of the reception staff and the large breakfast serving would put some pricier hotels to shame. Unfortunately, my single room was located at the base of a small flight of stairs which meant that I was kept awake by heavy footfalls and loud guests until early into the morning. To be fair to the lovely lady at reception, I was offered the option to move to a room at the other end of the floor. The hotel is ideally located, allowing one the option to either walk or take a bus into Central Dublin.

We had 2 days without electricity no hot shower no hot water and no hot breakfast and nobody told us what was going on. and even worse the rooms we're cold and freezing we understood. We we're told that when this happens it's beyond our control and the management didn't even offer any reduction in our bill, which I believe is disgraceful.
