Due to a technical issue, I double booked on the same day. I was then allowed to change one of the booking (paying an extra outside the platform). A personal situation came up and I beg them to change again the booking (not cancelling it), willing to pay any difference, but they refused, as it was already amended once. I'm in Dublin every week for work, unfortunately I won't go back.

We were a little disappointed when we checked in as the woman on reception was not very friendly and was only interested in visa card and accidental damages. we are an older couple who are unlikely to cause damage! I think a bit more of a friendly welcome would have been appreciated Thanks Peter Morgan

The building itself is nice and the staff was lovely, however, the walls are sooo thin. You can hear your neighbours conversations word for word, you can hear people walking and every door opening and closing. When the people above you walk, the entire ceiling shakes. It’s nice but I definitely would not pay as much as I did to stay here again. There’s a lack of peacefulness and privacy because of this. Understand it’s an older building, but it definitely was not a great night of sleep both nights I stayed

Cute little "bed and breakfast" with carpeted floors, heating, comfortable beds, excellent and helpful staff, and good breakfast buffet in mornings. Well worth the price! We did a tour trip around the UK and this was our favorite hotel.

Walking distance to just about anything. Great pubs, shopping, and more near by. Would recommend for anyone staying in Dublin. Walking distance to Paddywagon bus tours which I would also recommend!

Wonderful staff, convenient location, perfect for a city visit - but in our case we needed to be near the Rotunda hospital. It couldn’t have been better placed and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We recommend this hotel for friendly service and location.

The whole reception team is extremely helpful, patient & cooperative. The room is cozy. My only critique is that the walls are very thin. You will hear more than you'd like going on above and beside you. However, some noise cancelling earphones mitigate this issue. The location is also ideal. Close to ample food spots and Jervis shopping centre.

Wouldn’t stay here again
The location was good with it being walking distance to Temple bar & the lady on reception was very friendly & helpful.However, I would not stay at this hotel again. It was very noisy, walls are paper thin, you can hear other doors closing, the floors creaking, people in general talking, it was not a good night sleep! The room itself was very basic which for the money paid was not worth it! The hot tap needed to be repaired as it didn’t work properly and the plumbing for the shower needs looking at as the shower basin flooded when showering.

This is an older establishment that has been very well taken care of. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ms. Helen greeted us on our first day and was there to see us off on our last morning. It was perfectly located to walking to activities or for catching public transportation. The walls are a bit thin and you could hear noises from the other rooms so make sure you take your earplugs for sleeping. If you want the feel of an old European stay vs the cookie cutter big box hotels, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is in a good location for getting around, but it’s very noisy, there are people shouting and screaming outside all through the night and the windows may as well be non-existent. The bed was also really uncomfortable, we have both left aching all over. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean so it wasn’t all bad

All in all a good place to stay, just a few hiccups listed below: 1: Fire alarms during the night. I stayed there 6 nights, and on 3 of those nights, including the last night before a major flight, the fire alarms went off. The first one was just a quick blue flash, with no sound. The second one was blue flash and a little bit of noise. The third incident was extended. Blue lights and constant alarm for a good 10 seconds at 1:14 AM. These alarms were extremely annoying and ruined my sleep, when it was hard enough to fall asleep as it was. 2: The Bed! I have lower back pain since getting there. Very poor quality of mattress. Its gonna be a week or two before I am feeling back to normal. 3: tiny tiny corner showers. Beware if you are bigger than a 12 year old girl. 4: Breakfast. Most local tours start at 630 am, and buses start running towards other towns around that same time. The hotel doesn't start breakfast until 8 am. Which is fine, but in the world of accommodation, that's pretty late in the day. Now the GOOD! Staff was very friendly. I arrived super early amd they obviously didn't have a room ready for me, but they sure did move fast to get one ready for me. It was great. They watched my luggage while I went for a walk. I was a little nervous to leave my stuff there, but it all was just fine. The hotel is in a great location. 10 minute walk to major bus lines and temple square. Close enough to have fun, but far enough to get away from the crowds.

I had a 24 hour layover in Dublin and came across Hotel St. George by Nina and I’m really happy I did! Amazing value and wonderful location! It’s very centric, extremely close to many of the bus stops and the staff was extremely nice. The room was comfortable, very clean and had everything that I needed. I would certainly recommend it!

Pleasant stay despite the noise and sad shower
The hotel was decent for the price. The location was quite convenient with good bus links to the airport and Temple Bar as well as plenty of restaurants around. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. However, the building is old so it can be quite noisy, especially since our room was located on the top floor right by the stairs (the lift does not go all the way up to this floor) where other guests would walk past, often dragging heavy luggage along. I was woken up both mornings by guests leaving early in the morning. The other complaint I have is about the shower. The water pressure is pretty much non-existent. It was just about enough for a shower, but I dared not wash my hair. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, and the room was able to meet my needs.
