All in all a good place to stay, just a few hiccups listed below:
1: Fire alarms during the night. I stayed there 6 nights, and on 3 of those nights, including the last night before a major flight, the fire alarms went off. The first one was just a quick blue flash, with no sound. The second one was blue flash and a little bit of noise. The third incident was extended. Blue lights and constant alarm for a good 10 seconds at 1:14 AM. These alarms were extremely annoying and ruined my sleep, when it was hard enough to fall asleep as it was.
2: The Bed! I have lower back pain since getting there. Very poor quality of mattress. Its gonna be a week or two before I am feeling back to normal.
3: tiny tiny corner showers. Beware if you are bigger than a 12 year old girl.
4: Breakfast. Most local tours start at 630 am, and buses start running towards other towns around that same time. The hotel doesn't start breakfast until 8 am. Which is fine, but in the world of accommodation, that's pretty late in the day.
Now the GOOD!
Staff was very friendly. I arrived super early amd they obviously didn't have a room ready for me, but they sure did move fast to get one ready for me. It was great. They watched my luggage while I went for a walk. I was a little nervous to leave my stuff there, but it all was just fine.
The hotel is in a great location. 10 minute walk to major bus lines and temple square. Close enough to have fun, but far enough to get away from the crowds.
