StressfulPosted Sep 29, 2013
Cons: Evening manager was not nice.
Location: The price was great to get us right into Dublin in early am. Outskirts of city.
Very confusing and difficult to find, when lost even with GPS they didn't answer phone. Accommodations made us somewhat uneasy compared to the rest of our experience with hotels in Ireland, It's a conference center, that's about it.

In the suburbsPosted Sep 14, 2013
Location: It was 5 minutes from the largest shopping center in Dublin
The hotel did not have climate control, The sun heated my room up to 82 degrees even with the curtains closed. The hotel tried to remidy the situation with a fan The beds were narrow and they were covered with a very warm narrow duvet with a duvet cover. No separate sheet. We were so hot we had trouble sleeping. There was a motor noise that could be heard outside the room with the window open. They advertized free whi fi but it only worked the first night when we stood in the hallway, then there was no signal the rest of the week. The parking lot was pitch black at night The breakfast in the morning was reasonably priced. It included cereal toast, grapefruit, banana, apple, coffee tea yogurt muffin. 5 Euro

Convenient conference style room to DundrumPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Ease of check in and out.
Cons: Internet access.
Location: Dundrum Shopping Centre
Stayed here on a Saturday night in August 2013. Needed to give a lift to someone in Kilternan next day, so very convenient. Good parking, easy to find, better than average university/conference style room. Comfortable double bed, but very hot in the room that night although the window opens. Would stay here again for the location, and simplicity of checking in/out. At under 60 euros for the room it seems competitive. Breakfast 10 euros more per couple is optional. Internet which is advertised as being free, didn't work - but I could live without it for a night.

Gloomy BuildingPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Gloomy, grey ,ugly , depressing lookin building in need of some TLC . Reception and dining areas also in much need of a face lift! Bedrooms were cosy and comfy. Over all , it was affordable and ideal for a short visit to the city.

Unfortunately not the best.....Posted Aug 13, 2013
After a long 4 hour drive to Dublin, was looking forward to a nice shower to freshen up before heading out for dinner. I couldn't find towels in the room so called reception only to be told that there were none and there wouldn't be any until a delivery the next day! Not even a handtowel for washing hands in the bathroom is not acceptable and not hygenic! Very disapointing. Had to call reception again the next morning asking for towels which were then brought to the room. Also, our 'double' room was 2 single beds pushed together. Again, not really what was promised. Finally, there was no iron or ironing board in the room (may have been available from reception but by this time was feeling quite exasperated!)

Could be great with a little TLCPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Could be great if the room was a little better cleaned. The front pond was been cleaned when we visited which made it look bad which is fair enough it needs doing at some point. Everything just need a touch up. Staff inside where great from what we saw friendly and helpful. Not sure the card for electric system is really required and it buzzed at night so needed to be turned off (Not good for charging phones etc over night). Breakfast could have had a hot food option but what was there did us fine for the one night we stayed.

Halls, not a hotelPosted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: quiet location
Cons: breakfast arrangements were quite claustrophobic
Location: quiet suburban locaion, easy to find off the M50.
I made a booking thinking that this was a hotel, but its actually high quality university halls. It is well located for Marlay Park and also the Dundrum High Street shopping centre. We were staying here so we could go to a festival in Marlay Park, so the location was ideal for us.

Relaxed and informal but ideal for quiet workPosted Jul 4, 2013
Pros: Quiet, relaxed, informal, wifi, no bar, wooded setting.
A quiet location among mature trees and in a residential area. Good, small gym. Continental breakfast included. Good wifi. No bar or restaurant but coffee area and tv lounge. Relaxed atmosphere, ideal for studying or working away from distractions.
