Fantastic start to 2015! - Tks intercontinental!

Posted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Great location and standards but the ambience was spot on
Cons: You can always improve.... I guess you could with a few more parking spaces - we got wifi free but I think you charge for it - time to stop that now!
Location: Rds / avivia / dart - centre of dublin 10 mins / beach / sandy mount village - very well located and easily accessible from north through port tunnel
We were going to the RDS - just next door to the Leinster v Ulster match, the hotel was nearby and there was a 3 for 2 night deal on Expedia so we decided to make a weekend off it.... When we arrived the room was not just ready ( we arrived New Year's Day and I guess a few guests we in bed late!) they took our bags and we went for a short walk, when we returned the bags were already in our room, first point of call was swimming pool for the kids, it is well maintained and sufficient size, lots of hotels have windows where the kids can use the pool, here they were allowed from opening time until 8pm, the adults can the pool to themselves until 10pm....plenty towels, luxurious toiletries etc. available here and in the rooms. We ate at the very nice pizza takeaway just across the road, if I had not had the children we would have loved to have tried the hotel menu... Breakfasts were out of this world, the concierge, doormen, front desk, smiling maids and professional waiting staff were all top notch - they have just got the ambience right, well done manager! The first day we stayed was also the first day for the new owners, you guys have bought a great hotel, in a great location...... That is not hard to maintain, you have inherited WONDERFUL staff! I don't want to seem like I am showing off here but I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels in many different countries, the staff are the sauce on the chips! They bring it alive - look after them and you won't look back!

Fabulous Four Seasons

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Luxury hotel with excellent service, great food, attentive staff.
Cons: Nothing - the perfect hotel!
Location: Close to Aviva Stadium and RDS.
Brilliant weekend in the Four Seasons which was beautifully decorated for Christmas, fabulous trees and a handmade gingerbread house in the foyer. Staff are superb, their attention to detail is meticulous. Our room on the 4th floor had excellent facilities, was spacious and spotlessly clean, it had a lovely view of the Aviva Stadium. Breakfast was a veritable feast, we enjoyed a freshly cooked Full Irish breakfast with a wide selection of fruits and cereals. The Four seasons never disappoints - everything was five star as usual. However, we regret that the hotel will be under new management from 31/12/14, we just hope the new owners will continue to uphold the luxury, relaxing haven that has been synonymous with The Four Seasons.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic people

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: The rooms are very large and the bathrooms are luxurious. The beds are exceptionally comfortable.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.
Location: Local restaurants and pubs.
Last weekend, one of my adult sons became acutely and unexpectedly ill while his brother and I were attending a university graduation ceremony. The staff quickly stepped into action, liaised with Blue Cross and arranged for his transfer via ambulance to a local hospital. We were taken by hotel car to the hospital and our room upgraded to a suite while all our interactions with staff were sensitively and kindly managed. I cannot speak more highly of the efficiency, compassion and kindness of the staff during this unexpected family event. Fantastic hotel, fantastic people!

Fantastic staff and hotel

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Stayed here for three days during a Vacation to Ireland. We encountered an unfortunate medical situation and I cannot say enough about the kindness and attention of the staff. From ensuring we had cars provided to a hospital to providing my wife with a gift upon her departure this staff do the reputation of Four Seasons Hotels justice. Wonderful hotel and people.

Great for families for a half term break

Posted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: Fabulous swimming pool and spa were perfect on a wet day for all of us. Special effort made for the kiddies on checking in and by staff at breakfast.
Cons: Not much - we had a great time. It was pricey but expected for a Four Seasons.
Location: Typical Dublin stuff - St Stephen's Green, Trinity College, Temple Bar to wander around etc.
Was worried that the hotel might be too chintzy but we couldn't fault it - service and facilities were great.

Luxurious hotel

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Luxurious and spacious room.
Cons: Complementary tea and coffee could be already in room without having to ask.
Location: Royal Dublin Society arenas next door. Within 1 hours walk to Guiness Store house, shopping Grafton Street, Temple Bar and other amenities.
Superb hotel with very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent facilities with very comfortable rooms. Cannot fault anything. I would highly recommend this hotel.
