Nice hotel close to city centre

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The hotel was really nice, and there was an extensive range of breakfast menu, with Gluten free.
Location: The hotel is about 1 mile from city centre, say 15 minute walk, with good bus links if needed. Lots of sights in centre and plenty of eateries.
We took up an Expedia offer of flight and hotel. Chose Dublin as hadn't been there for over 40 years. Apart from an unfortunate plane delay, the flight went well, the transfer from airport was easy, the weather was good. The hotel was not too far from city sights, which could be reached by walking, and we saw a lot in two days. There is a good transport system which we would use on a future occasion to explore further parts of Dublin and surrounds. Being start of summer holiday period, there were a lot of family groups with children, who seemed well catered for - I believe breakfast was free for children under a certain age.

Perfect location

Posted Jul 21, 2014
We stayed at this hotel for the weekend. We arrived 2 hours before check in hoping to drop our bags somewhere safe and come back however the very helpful lady on the front desk sorted us our room straight away. The hotel is very clean and also very quiet considering it's on the main road, the traffic noise went unnoticed. A lovely selection at breakfast, regularly topped up and always hot and fresh, our best yet! We picked this hotel for its location near to the 02 arena. A short 15 minute walk one way to the 02 or the same distance the other way to the city centre. A direct bus route from the airport to hotel in 20 minutes, and a taxi rank outside. Litrally, what more could you ask for?!

Good safe location in Dublin City centre

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: The location is great. A short walk to everywhere.
The hotel is good value for your money. Can access the airport easily from this location by taxi or by bus. Breakfast is worth the extra Euros.

Great location for a city stay

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Location was perfect, it looked nice, was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Location: Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, try Ely Bar for some good food and great cocktails!
We stayed here for one night and were very pleasantly surprised. This is a lovely hotel with great service, looks nice, is clean, and has all you would need. The location is perfect, not right in the very centre of the city but in a really nice area in the docklands - lovely walk along the quays - with lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Easily accessed by the Luas and an airport bus right outside, although a taxi booked through the hotel is only €20 to the airport. Would definitely recommend for an enjoyable Dublin stay.

Very convenient and comfortable

Hotel comfortable and most of staff very helpful. Just one sour note - asked at reception 're shuttle bus for the red City sightseeing tour and was told by a member of staff (NOT a foreign speaker, but a local) that it did not pick up at the hotel. However a short time later as we were leaving the hotel there was the bus stopped and the driver coming in to check if anyone was waiting for the shuttle bus! Perhaps the member of staff has shares in the rival company?!?
