Very central Hotel

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: It was very clean and the staff were really helpful, also the central location is ideal for shopping.
Location: Its located just off o connell street and near ilac and jervis shopping centres.
My daughter and I stayed in this hotel. It was very clean and suited our needs very well. We were there for shopping and a concert and the location of the hotel was excellent for both.

good tourist base but bad neighbourhood

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: room , staff , clean
Cons: room service
Location: this is not a great area of Dublin to be walking around at night . I left my car in the hospital car park across the road which had good security 6eur
went with partner and two young children. The sofa bed was not made up for the kids on arrival and had to phone to get that sorted. room was a good size and got a good rate

Nice hotel in a convenient location

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Nice and responsive staff, convenient
Cons: The laundry service is very expensive!
I stayed at this hotel for three nights in June. I got in early and was able to check in right away as they happened to have a room available. The room itself was clean. Everything worked fine. The staff was nice and responsive. Its location at the top of O'Connell Street was very convenient. It's safe if you turn in the direction of O'Connell Street. However, if you turn left and go down side streets toward the Jameson Distillery, you will pass through some sketchy neighbourhoods. So you may want to stick to the main roads if you want to walk that way.

Great hotel with good location

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The location. The room. The breakfast. The staff. All great.
Cons: Had a few problems with room key no working.
Location: Just off top of O'Connell Street so perfect area to start exploring the city.
Would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendlier. Arrived few hours before check in but were able to store bags and also access to one of the rooms. The hotel is in a good location to start seeing the city if it is your first visit to Dublin. Just off one of the main city centre streets where the hop-on hop-off buses start. Also, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants nearby. But would also recommend having breakfast at the hotel. Great selection and very good value. Have visited Dublin several times and would say that this is the best hotel I have stayed at.

Excellent hotel in central location

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The central location of this hotel and the staff
Cons: At breakfast time the tables just vacated did not get cleared away very quickly so you were having to try and find the staff to have the table cleaned
Location: The location was excellent and this hotel is located around the corner from the coaches to take you to the airport and also the tour guide buses.
Room booked for 3 adults and room was more than adequate in size and in no way felt like you were stepping over each other. Room was very clean and although towels only left for 2 people when asking at reception for more towels the staff were extremely helpful and this was delivered to our room within 30 minutes. The location of this hotel was excellent, located right in the centre of the city yet noise was not an issue. We would definitely recommend this hotel and on our next visit to Dublin this will be the hotel we look to stay at.
