Quaint hotel with friendly staffPosted Jan 30, 2015
Kildare Street Hotel is a nice hotel with an old style feel. The staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to help their guests. I would stay here again.

Nice but more of a hostelPosted Jan 16, 2015
Great location. Rooms are nice and comfy very clean but..... There is Only 1 shared bathroom on each floor. The bathroom is very clean and well kept but if you don't have your own bathroom it's not a hotel.

Although the rooms were well serviced and clean , the staff friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom well stocked unfortunately, due to the attatched night club, we were unable to sleep until after 3 am

nice old style hotelPosted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: it would have to be the location first, then the price and hospitality
Cons: the stairs needs a lift/
Location: this hotel was situated in the middle of the older side of town close to the museum trinity college and other historical buildings.
we enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and the room was spacious and clean.

Great except for the noisy club next doorPosted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: the staff are wonderful
The staff is excellent - helpful and friendly and my room was comfy and clean. There's no elevator, so it's a bit of a hike to the top (3rd) floor, but staff will help you with your bags if needed. However, despite the hike, I'd recommend the top floor because of the thumping disco music that plays til late at the club next door. The location and value are excellent - the National library and museums, Trinity College, St Stephens Green, Grafton St and the Temple Bar nightlife are all within easy walking distance. This really is a great, great place - highly and especially recommended for late nighters or those who can sleep through anything.

Despite of the price, our room was clean, the hotel is located in a good position in a pretty nice area. Recommended.

The hotel was everything we expected except there was no lift (elevator). Unfortunately because of this we will not be able to stay at the Kildare again.

Great location, tired hotelPosted Aug 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was picked for its location, which was very good for seeing Trinity College and the National Museum. Also very close to various bus lines. I had read about the noise issue, but was too tired to ask for a quieter room after a transAtlantic trip. The noise over the bar/restaurant was indeed significant. The hotel seems tired--worn carpeting, etc.

Great service in the centre of DublinPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, friendliness
Cons: If it were possible to install a lift.........the trek to the 3rd floor can be arduous for older folk
Location: Superbly situated in the centre of Dublin with access to everything
I again had the pleasure of staying at the Kildare Street hotel, most conveniently situated for my business in Dublin and as usual a warm and friendly welcome awaited.
