Avoid this hotelPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Nothing except close to a meeting I had the next day.
Cons: Build it from scratch. Very old fashioned. Put in a lift and a restaurant.
Location: I don't know.
Tiny room. Horrible, old wardrobe with mirrored accordion style doors. No lift. Noisy nightclub next door. Central to where I needed to be the next day, otherwise this was a terrible experience. Flashback to 1970s hotels. Worst place I've stayed in about 20 years. Creaky, windy stairs. Decades of emulsion layers. Tiny bathroom. Horrible. Would never stay here again.

Great location, helpful staff, tiny roomsPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: location, staff, price
Cons: consistency between rooms, more comfortable beds, more soundproofing, larger showers
Location: close to everywhere you want to be
Location is great. Walkable to Trinity College, St. Stephen's green, Temple Bar and many other tourist attractions. Close to tourist office (pick up location for bus tours outside the city) and airport shuttle. Staff was all extremely nice and helpful. Room was clean at check in. Cleaning staff was quick and effective in cleaning every day of our stay. Check in wasn't till 3 pm, but when I first arrived early in the morning, exhausted from my overnight international flight, the staff found me a room within 30 minutes. I was asleep before 10:30 am. Downsides: Room is very small (typical for European hotels) and I could barely fit into shower, let alone move enough to wash and shave my legs. I stayed twice, at the beginning and end of my week in Ireland. The second room was quiet, the bed comfortable and everything was in good shape. The first room was not as nice: the decorative pillows were fraying and faded, the bed was uncomfortable (I could feel the springs) and the room was close to the nightclub, so a bit noisy on Saturday night. I didn't mind the noise (I used to live in a popular nightlife area in Chicago), but my boyfriend prefers things quieter and he was annoyed by the music. However, the location and staff were good enough (along with the price) that we booked a room for our return stay in Dublin later that week.

Nice hotel for those that are touring DublinPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The location was perfect for walking to any I'd the local pubs and area attractions. Perfect for the tourist though we weren't there as tourist.
Cons: Would be great if they identified the non-use of air conditioning for those coming during warmer months. Also, to have more outlets in area easy to.
Location: The location is great. Right across the street from trinity college park and many tour buses to hope on if you want to visit somewhere
The hotel staff was exceptional and the service was good. If you plan to stay be aware that many hotels in Dublin do not have a/c so plan your visit around the weather. The room was quite warm but our overall stay was great. The staff are some very nice people and the food was very good. Yes, I would recommend to friends but to only go when the weather is cooler.

Great LocationPosted Aug 16, 2013
We chose this for the cost and location. Were surprised at how comfortable the rooms were. Downstairs pub was noisy and the music could be heard all over the hotel.

not to bad at allPosted Aug 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
All round very friendly helpfull staff. Room 101 reciently renovated, bathroom could be done next though. The view of the pool of rusty looking water on top of the flat roof was disgusting. We had to ask for a fan for the room it was like a sauna, and were given it straight away. I was up early for a marathon along with some other guests so the hotel put breakfast on an hour earlier for us which was great. (thank you guys). The location was exelent i would stay again.

Great stayPosted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
We got a great rate for a centrally-located hotel. We stayed Mon-Wed nights and never heard a peep from the bar/club in the hotel. The windows are old and we did hear all the traffic outside. Room was comfortable and tea and biscuits were left in the room to enjoy. Not sure how many other rooms we shared the bathroom with, but we never had any problems/inconvenience (though the hotel may not have been at full capacity at the time). The "Aircoach" from airport dropped off/picked up less than two blocks from the hotel, which was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Reasonable price, Good locationPosted Jul 4, 2013
Pros: Good location. Friendly Staff.
Cons: The room was too hot, and there was no way to cool it down. There was some noise from the bar downstairs.
We stayed three nights. The room was OK, but too hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Access to the airport bus was good. Not a fancy hotel, but a reasonable place to stay for a short time.
