Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
A little out of the main tourist area but a quick bus ride into the city centre on the number 39 bus - the hotel was quiet (which it seems is unusual in Dublin) and the staff very friendly and helpful

Nice hotel good value for price

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Very friendly
Cons: Shower took 5 minutes to heat up
Location: Plent places to eat and shops in immediate area bus stop 10 yards from hotel Aviva 15 minutes away.
Staff were brilliant from check in to check out . Good food and reasonably priced not to far from city centre (15 min walk) close to shops and pubs and the Aviva

Uncomfortable

Room was like a sweatbox for some reason + noise from other rooms & the necessity to keep two fans going derailed plans for any sleep

Great location

Tha Lansdowne Hotel is centrally located in Dublin, that is within walking distance of St Stephens Green, the National Museum and Library, Trinity College with its famous Book of Kells and a host of traditional pubs and good restaurants. There is a bus service close the hotel to the city centre where there is even more to see. Enjoy.
