Stay away

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Room was comfortable
Cons: Attitude of staff. Professionalism needed. Presentation of food. Change of systems and procedures so a change of wake up time can occur.
Location: the location was not helpful for my needs.
this hotel has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were unhelpful, their systems were unflexible and nothing was easy but indeed hard. Staffing levels were inadequate.

Concert night stay

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The size of the room, the cleanliness, the parking was great.
Cons: The room temperature, room was very warm.
Location: Location great and a short drive into dublin city centre.
We had chosen this hotel for a night stay for a concert we were going to, location was great, hotel was great, although staff are in need of some customer service training, hospitality is appalling . This is a real let down as hotel was great apart from this, parking was excellent, room was great, although very warm.

Handy for the city

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Nice appearance.balconies were a hit
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: South West of City, easy to get by car, quick to get on the motorways. Small shopping area nearby, nice garden centre a block away
Booked this very last minute, had no idea where it was, turned out it was only a short walk from the tram that runs regularly into Dublin takes 30-40 mins which we used a lot. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning in the hotel and the hotel is on a very busy junction so if you have the windows open it is noisy, but we would use the hotel again.

Basic hotel !

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming friendly and helpful . Kirsty on reception is an asset to the hotel gives a very warm first impression !!!
Cons: Attention to detail deep clean carpets and sort the privacy issue in the rooms that need it .
Location: The luas is close by and is a great way to travel in to the city . If you want to go out for a meal The Blazing Grill serves really amazing food !!!!
Basic hotel that is a bit tired!! Rooms clean but things like the carpet were stained a bit off putting . And in the room we were in there was a privacy issue flats opposite and other balcony had a veiw straight in unless curtains drawn some sort of slatted blind would be better .

Hotel

I was asked for €100 security deposit on arrival, I don't know what people went before me, but I do know I am not a trouble maker and was pretty annoyed about that, also the girl at reception was not very obliging when I told I didn't have my passport to add to my security deposit!! In fact I was quite shocked about this, I paid the money but I think the minimum would too be told about these extra requirements prior to arrival as I would never have stayed there
