Cons: New mattresses, toiletries in bathroom, microwaves and/or refrigerators in rooms.
Location: Location is not good. It is quite far from the center of town and only a few restaurants nearby. It is within walking distance of the Guinness brewery
Location of hotel is not close to the center of Dublin. There is one market next to the hotel and two or three nearby restaurants-that is it. Restaurant in the hotel is rather expensive. The beds in our room were hard and very uncomfortable. I woke up with a backache every morning. No toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) were offered in the bathroom so bring your own.

Convenient location.

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Staff very helpful.
Cons: A sign directing you to the hotel might be helpful near the canal.
Location: Location okay. Need to walk a bit (15 to 20 minutes) or take public transportation to major sights. Walk to canal to get to sights. Other ways iffy
Hotel staff very helpful. Walkable to major sights. Area right by hotel fine.

Nice hotel pretty good location.

The hotel was nice and was pretty close to most tourist stuff and the tram was just down the hill. The only bad side was no ac and there wasn't a window that opened it was a balcony outside which connected to every other one so didn't want to leave it open all night. A store next door and a few restaurant And pubs within a 5 minute area

Helpful staff and practical hotel for our trip.

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Location was ideal, comfortable rooms, staff were the people who topped the stay off.
Cons: Room temperature on occasions got very warm in parts of the hotel.
Location: Jameson Distillery a stone throw away. Temple Bar (5-10 mins walk) Jervison shopping centre (5-10mins walk)
Enjoyed our stay and hotel was nicely located being a bit out of the city but close enough to walk into the centre (5-10mins) Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable they knew who you were. Hotel and facilities were good/practical for what we required plus clean and comfortable, shop located next door to the hotel was really handy plus transport links closeby. We were part of a wedding group so it was also handy that we were all on similar floors or closeby. They were really good at co-ordinating our transport on the day too ensuring we go to the venue on time.

Easy to find next to the Old Jamison Distilliary

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: Good Location, nice staff, quiet area.
Cons: Information about the tram which gives access to Dublin. How to use it to gain maximum valve for money!
Location: Very convenient to shops. eating establishments and entertainment in Dublin.
The Hotel is in a excellent location. There is a very lovely supermarket/coffee shop next door. A cinema is located near by in an underground complex with multiple screens. Not only are the cinemas easily accessed from the hotel but the underground parking/cinemas are very, very unique. I found them to be - overwhelming. The "Generator" located on the old Jamison's site is excellent for winding down and dropping in for a drink when "out on the town". Access to Dublin's city centre is easy by the tram near the hotel. My wife and I found it to be an unique experience unlike any other break we ever had in Dublin.

Close to the action, but not too close.

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Tidy, friendly staff and good location.
Cons: Update the tv's and wall mount them. Add a bar fridge.
Location: Close to downtown area and train. Also Third Space restaurant is nearby and great for breakfast.
Nice enough standard hotel. A few small suggestions: Like most other restaurants in Dublin, the hotel restaurant opens later on Sunday which is inconvenient for guests. It would also be nice if the hotel room had a small fridge to keep water, drinks etc cool. The tv seemed about 20 years old. Not a big deal but it takes up a lot of room in a small suite. A small flatscreen is inexpensive. I'd almost rather not have anything. On the Sunday morning we arrived, the resto was closed and we asked if there were any other places in the area that might be open. He could only think of one place, when in fact we later discovered there were lots of places. So a little more local knowledge would be helpful for first time visitors. Still, it's a pretty good hotel, and I'd recommend it.

Good hotel close to light rail to city area

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Overall, it was pretty good in a "nothing outstanding" way. There is, however, a very good small supermarket right next door which caters to all needs, even food and alcohol, and it has a pretty good coffee shop inside as well. The hotel, supermarket and coffee shop work well as a package. With the light rail system only 5, or so, minutes walk away (and the bus to/from the airport for a flat Euro 6.00 per person only another 2 minutes further on) it really is a well located hotel.
