“Impressive service, kind staff, great location!”
The tea kettle did not work in my room, so the staff were very kind to provide complimentary coffee/tea from the bar until they could replace it. They also provided directions and other assistance whenever asked. Room service was excellent and prompt. Free fast Wi-Fi was great as well. Besides being close to exploring Howth, the location was ideal since it was easily accessible to the DART Sutton Station for journeys to the city centre and Bus 102 to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for its affordable cost and excellent service and staff.

“Great except for the noisey birds.”
We had no issues during our stay at Marine hotel with the hotel itself or with the staff, they were all excellent. However, in the middle of the night we were woken up by a group of very loud birds and for the next 3 hours they wouldn't let us sleep (even though our windows were closed etc). They were probably seagulls? We had to leave early the next morning to fly out of Dublin so we really needed our sleep. I would recommend bringing some ear plugs with you. As far as everything else the hotel itself is nice. They have small but comfortable rooms, a pool and a restaurant onsite. Also they offer free Wi-Fi. Try it out you might get lucky and not be bothered by the annoying birds.

Very nice, clean ,great staff,nice area on the water,good pub.I am going to go back next time in Ireland.
“Nice hotel, nice location”
This hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, with shops and the sea nearby. Ths staff at the hotel is very friendly, many locals come to the hotel for tea or for a swim. My daughter had a lot of the fun at the pool, although the Spa area could do with a coat of paint here and there.
“Close to DART”
Nice place with beautiful lawn and view of the bay. Pool, steam room and sauna were all comfortable and clean. Helpful staff and great location. There's a supermarket across the street and the DART station is a five-minute walk down the road. They gave us three beds (two adults and two small children) and my daughters enjoyed having their own. A happy change from being crammed into most hotel/B&B rooms.
“A decent hotel”
This hotel is outside of Dublin, a couple of miles from Howth. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. This hotel is very old, so the public areas don't have the same polish that a newer hotel would have but that is part of the charm.
“Great location”
Our stay was a long one (10 days) and being in a family room helped quite a bit. (Large room) We had to change from the 1st room as the bed was extremely soft (very old) with a dip in the mattress and staff was quick to help. Great restaurant on site but the Bar Lounge had the same food for much less...strange. Breakfasts were fantastic. Near transport to city centre and good shopping across the street for groceries and coffee etc...
