Hotel bien situado y tranquilo. Habitación amplia. Cama excepcionalmente cómoda y grande. El baño necesita reforma. Desayuno muy básico.

Lovely friendly hotel in a good location.

Posted May 28, 2015
It was lovely to stay in a hotel with such friendly helpful staff. The room had plenty of space in it and everything was in good condition. Loved the magnifying mirror with a light in the bathroom. The room wasn't too hot - which is unusual. The safe was in a sensible place where you could see what you were doing. The drinks in the bar were normal prices not the usual rip off. Really superb hotel.

Great location able to walk into Dublin every day

Posted May 24, 2015
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel including the staff.
Cons: Bathtubs are very high which seems to be the case with older hotels. There is a bar so its safe but you have to be careful.
This was my first trip to Dublin. The O'Callahan hotel is a short walk into town and the Trinity College area. The location is very nice and a safe place to walk. I stayed 5 days and enjoyed the hotel very much The food was good and the staff very helpful. I recommend this hotel as an excellent hotel and reasonably priced place to stay in Dublin. The hotel borders on a park which is a stop on the Hop On bus if you want to explore all of Dublin.

Bra hotell i närheten av St Stephens Green -parken

Posted May 11, 2015

Quite local

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Hotel was quite local and easy to fine. Ok room and a good place to lay your head. Could always be improved. A couple of issues when we got there, our room key didn't work and the safe didn't work but both were resolved quickly. Taxi was ordered for us for the flight home.

Good hotel, a little far from city center

Posted Mar 25, 2015 on Hotels
Overall, it was a good stay. However, one night we ordered a pizza costing us 14 Euro with a 5 Euro charge = 19 Euro. When the man came up, I gave him a 20 and he said he did not have change. They already charged FIVE Euro's to bring it up, then say they don't have change (trying to be sneaky), I think this is very unprofessional. It made my boyfriend and I very unhappy with the service.

Great location!

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Everything. The fresh apples at the front desk.
Cons: Better television reception. Not that we watched a lot, but when we were in the room it would have been nice.
Location: Plenty of Pubs, shopping and great eateries. Bus stops and train stations are very close.
This was our first trip to Ireland, and this was the perfect location to be. Centrally located and with walking distance to bus and train stations. The front desk staff was WONDERFULLY helpful, and very friendly. There is a great little Pub right next to the hotel, "the Ginger Man Pub" and a cute little Bistro/Pub right down the street. The area is quiet, even over the St. Patrick's Day holiday, but there was activities within walking distance. Shopping and plenty of dinning choices as well. 4 thumbs up!
