“Great mid-range, central hotel”

Everything about the O'Callaghan Mont Clare was perfect for our trip - it was a *great* value, maybe not a very glamorous hotel, but clean, and comfortable, with very courteous staff. Everything in our room (hot water, internet connection) worked flawlessly, and the room was not at all cold or damp as some other reviewers mentioned. Also, the location was perfect - central enough that it was just a short walk to Grafton Street and Temple Bar, but far enough away from the action that it wasn't noisy. We also found the Merrion Square neighborhood to be a welcome alternative to the more tourist-y parts of Dublin, and we found a lot of little pubs that filled up with Dubliners after work, which was *very* fun :) Whole-heartedly reccommend!

“Great location - great price”

Visited Dublin for a long weekend, this hotel was perfect. A few mins walk from the end of Grafton St [the main shopping area], walked to all the major sites in under 30 mins. In the Georgian district of the city next to the lovely Merrion Sq. Room was great, very clean and extremely comfortable bed. Would definitely go back!

“Very Convient/Clean Hotel in Dublin- Location, Location, Location is great!!”

Very nice greeting at check-in. Hotel is very close and convient to temple bar district, short walk to all the sights. No need for cab, save your $$ for great shopping/gifts in dublin or for buying a few pints. Rooms were alittle small but to be expected for europe. Rooms were clean. Overall, very satisfied with stay. You wont be dissappointed.

“Lovely place to stay in Dublin”

Well kept, clean, tidy hotel. The room size was good with all necessary amenities (tea and coffee, television, hairdryer etc.) The full Irish breakfast was great and kept fresh. Although the hotel did not have internet access, there was another O'Callaghan hotel across the road which had internet and gym facilities for use. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and helpful although their knowledge of tourist information could have been better. Highly recommended.

“Dublins Fair City”

I have stayed at this hotel on 4 occasions now and would not stay anywhere else in Dublin. It is perfectly situated for all attractions. Just 10 mins walk from Grafton St and 5 mins walk from the nearest DART (Pearce station). The Dublin tour buses stop just outside too.

“Great Location-would recommend”

This was a very nice, small hotel. The location was great, rooms clean, convenient to many sights also close to aircoach stop, city tour bus stops, public transportation stops and DART station.

“Good value”

Room was smaller than expected, but we didn't spend much time there anyway. Staff was very helpful, and the room service was quite prompt. Excellant location within the city.

“Lovely Time”

The room was clean, the hotel had charm, and the parking was very affordable. The front desk was very helpful in guiding us towards activities, giving directions, and other town suggestions. The location was very central, and having parking at a very reasonable price was key. If we get a chance to re-visit Dublin, I'd stay there again for sure.

The whole experience was grand. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful with directions and information. Our only complaint was no hair dryer. Most travellers expect this these days. The location was ideal for the sights we wished to see, being central to all of the attractions. Within walking distance of Trinity College, Dublin Castle, museums, Grafton Street, Christ Church and the Liffey. We couldn't have cjosen a better hotel.
