Great, especially for fans of James JoycePosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Location and staff. They were all very friendly and helpful and went above expectations. The morning breakfasts were great.
Location: Close to O'Connell Street which is the heart of Dublin commerce north of the Liffey. Near both the Abbey and Gate theaters as well.
Location, location, location. I am interested in all things James Joyce and especially his book Ulysses. This hotel was the perfect location; from my room window I could see the complete spire of St. George church and it is less than a block away from Belvidere College where Joyce attended and the same distance from Mountjoy Square near where the Joyce family once lived on Fitzgibbon St. and also along where Fr. Conmee began his walk from the church on Gardner St.(St. Francis Xavier's). The James Joyce Center is only a block a way as well and its only a short walk to No. 7 Eccles St. where Leopold Bloom and Molly lived. You can trace Bloom's morning walk for breakfast easily. You can also catch a public bus at Mountjoy Square (a hop on and off tourist bus also stops here as well...the RED one) to the Dublin CIty Center or you can walk a block and a half in the other direction and be at O'Connell St. and a short walk down that street passes the Gresham Hotel (featured in Joyce's "The Dead") and onto the Spire intersection area where the bronze statue of Joyce is located. All in all the hotel was perfect for my Joyce inspired visit.

Location: everything to hand transport and all manner of entertainment.
good central location and nice staff could do with a coat of paint as walls are custard coloured and ceiling of dining room is crumbling and needs re-plastering.

Great value close to central DublinPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Location, price, quiet area, breakfast, nice room.
Perfect location for enjoying historic central Dublin, but away from all the noise. Full breakfast meant I didn't even need lunch! Room was clean, recently remodeled, and even classy. A superb value for the money - close in, quiet, comfortable, and a great meal.

Overall not a bad B&BPosted Jun 24, 2015
Room was ok. En suite in a bit of a strange place due to room size & shape but had a great shower. Rooms quite close together and you hear people moving about but nothing that kept us awake. The owner, Seamus, was very nice and organised our taxi as we had an early flight home. B & B not too far from main drag, about a 15 min walk.

DisappointingPosted Jun 18, 2015
Rooms were small and cramped. Returning for another night after 10 days gone, our reservation was misinterpreted, assuming two people instead of three as the reservation stated. Were placed in a long narrow room with cramped bathroom, tight for three. The woman on staff was very pleasant and helpful,

Leuk hotel, vlakbij het centrum, centraal gel.Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: Het oude karakter/kenmerken.
Behulpzame eigenaar, niets is teveel.

Ottimo punto d'appoggioPosted May 27, 2015

Kleines B&BPosted Apr 29, 2015 on Hotels
