One night near the airportPosted May 28, 2015
Pros: Proximity to airport and free shuttle to airport
Cons: Rooms need updating. The place needs an overhaul.
Location: Next to the airport.
this hotel was ok for one night before a flight, but i would not want to stay longer. It was very tired and a little shabby. the room set up was strange. There was no reading light for the bed, but some weird blue bulbs in a niche next to the bed. You had to have the overhead lights plus several others that were on the same switch on in order to read. The furniture was worn with spots on the upholstery. I chose this hotel partially for the restaurant, but when i went there it was chaos. It took me a very long time to get a drink at the bar. There was no literature in the rooms except a room service menu that looked like it had been handled 1000 times. I ended up ordering room service in lieu of eating in the restaurant. What came did not meet the description on the menu, but was a much less appealing version of it. And it was expensive. The bathroom was fine for a one night stay and was roomy and bright. The one plus I can add is the proximity to the airport and the shuttle service.

Walking distance to airport good; despite bagsPosted May 25, 2015
Pros: Very little positive statements can be made...sorry. Bathroom was nicely oriented with good towels and products.
Cons: Furnishings would enhance the ambience
No shuttle to be found, walked to hotel about 10 minute walk with luggage. Was told there was a shuttle which we didn't see. Room was clean enough however, very sparsely furnished. One queen bed in a room designed for two beds but vacant floor space prevailed. No comfortable chair or sofa...two hard straight backed chairs and a 20 inch round table...that's it. I called the desk and they said there used to be a sofa bed in the room and they would put me in another smaller room so the room would seem fuller but no extra furniture???????? No other comments were made. Early departure for a plane meant we left by 6:30 and no breakfast was available. Normally we stay at the Crown Plaza and/or Holiday Inn and will return there...the Radisson Blu got us by name recognition...but we won't be back The price is too high for so little.

Close to airportPosted May 25, 2015
Room was noisy from adjacent room and people above. Restaurant food was terrible...will never eat there again! Gym closed at 6 pm so be aware if that is an amenity you wanted to use. No grab and go breakfast as advertised on their website, so that was also a disappointment. Otherwise, the proximity to the airport is really why I stayed there, but will not pay that $$ again as the value I was expecting didn't turn out.

Convenient hotel close to the airportPosted May 20, 2015
Pros: Location to the airport
Cons: The food in the restaurant downstairs, didn't think it was great.
Location: Close to airport
Hotel is great for a night close to the airport, with shuttle provided to the hotel which was perfect for our early morning flight.

Close to airportPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Nice size room & bathroom.
Didn't like walking into a room that hadn't been vacuumed. The carpet had stuff on it.

Very disappointedPosted May 13, 2015
Cons: Better explanation of shuttle service on website.
We had a very early flight and needed a convenient place to crash for a quick overnight near the airport. The experience with the "convenient" shuttle service was terrible. Nowhere on the website (that I could easily find) was it explained where the shuttle park is located outside the airport. Waited in the wrong spot for 30 mintues at 11 pm until asking a kind stranger who told us to go to another zone. After locating it, there was a small sign stating that after 11 pm, you need to call the hotel to pick you up...which also was not explained on the website. I had emailed their customer service the day before to get this info, and they never responded...so when we finally got the hotel, check in was slow...and looked unorganized. The bathroom was dirty and outdated. Moldy tiles in the shower. Thankfully were only there for a quick overnight.

Sort business tripPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: cleanliness and comfort of bedroom
Cons: As I said earlier, a proper dining room would make an improvement.
Location: For me, the location was most convenient being at the airport. As I was there for only 1 night, I did not really look for other things to do nearby.
I found the hotel excellent in every way - the bedroom, the food etc. If I have one reservation it is that there is not a proper dining room - only a bar with a dining area, but this did not detract from the quality of the food which wqs excellent.
