Great location in Temple Bar..Posted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel had a great location. You could walk to the hop on hop off bus stop, shopping, Temple Bar, Trinity College. It was also super affordable and clean. The only thing I didin't like was how noisy our room was. I would not recommend staying in a room on the first level of the hotel. it is above a nightclub so it is super loud until 3AM weekends and 1AM weekdays. We asked to switch rooms but couldn't because the hotel was booked.

great location, dirty hotelPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Its in a great location right in the middle of Temple Bar area, but that also means it is noisy. Every night there was a street performer playing a bugle right outside my window. Plus there was no AC so it was either close the window and sweat or open the window and hear the noise. Not good options. Also the hotel is just dirty. There was mold growing on the ceiling and floor of the bathroom, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, the carpet was stained and dirty. The sheets were clean, but I could feel the springs in the mattress and it was worn out leaning to one side. Even the lobby smelled like vomit one night.

Don't stay here if you enjoy sleepPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed here as it was convenient for the place I was working in Temple Bar. You expect a certain amount of street noise as this is the heart of Dublin. The condition of the room was basic. The small room was sparse. The boxy tiny television came without a remote control. The walls had slight spots on, the paintwork was peeling and the mattress was rather lumpy. But all of this could have been overlooked had I been able to get a good nights sleep. Please be aware if you stay here that the bar / club in the hotel stays open until 2.30am and they play VERY LOUD music throughout. The noise from the street in the Temple Bar district is miniscule by comparison and they make no concession to those staying who don't wish to party until dawn. I wouldn't recommend.

"Punk Rock" experiencePosted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Prime location if you want to explore the colorful and fun Temple Bar district, but the hotel really is falling apart...had to prop up the window with our trash can because the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Springs in the mattress in your back and all that, but the sheets and towels were clean, and the front desk staff were all very friendly. Syd and Nancy would have felt right at home! ha!

If you are a party animal, perfect as you will not sleep before 4am, if you just want somewhere cheaper to stay but WANT to sleep do not stay here!!! Also NO lifts and 4 floors - LOVELY staff though

There was no lift so getting my suitcase up and down was a trial, in fact I hurt my back. There was also an awful smell in the hotel. The friendliness and information given was nery helpful.

Don't stay here, worst hotel in IrelandPosted May 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room wasn't very clean, falling apart and the bed was uncomfortable to say the least. We came back at 11:45 PM to find a really loud band playing in the hotel bar, so loud the place was shaking, so we asked to be moved to the top floor so that we could sleep. The receptionist duly obliged but very grumpily and neglected to mention that the new room had 2 single beds and not a double, as we had booked. We could still hear the music but it was too late to move so we tried to sleep through it. Awful experience, worst hotel I've ever stayed in. DO NOT BOOK IT
