Nice hotel easy to locate as near Aviva

Pros: Good value for the money
Cons: Install better and latest TV model in the rooms
Location: Within easy walking distances of both Sandymount and Ballsbridge Villages
Excellent staff service and breakfast. Conveniently located to Lansdown road station for transport to the centre of .Dublin and for access to local shops and amenities. Pick up from the Hotel for the Hop On bus was very useful hough on the day we used it was over 1/2 hour late in arriving

Not great/Lack of Sleep

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Closeness to Aviva Stadium and RDS
Cons: All floorboards be replaced. Customer service during stay and on check out.
The hotel was pleasant but extremely noisy. I was woken at least 6 or 7 times each night on my 3 night stay. Creaking and banging floorboards on the bedroom ceiling from the floor above was constant. People hanging around in the narrow hallways outside my door. 1 hour passed on a Saturday night were people drank and sang in the hallway outside my door. I called reception but it did not seem to be moved. On check out I was not asked how my stay was, just that I had Euro20 to pay for breakfast. No 'have a nice day' when I was leaving etc that make a stay just that little bit better.

Would recommend Sandymount!

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, spotless accommodations, affordability
Cons: Pillows of varying degrees of firmness would be really appreciated!
Location: Gorgeous local architecture, close proximity to DART, Aviva stadium very close by.
We found the staff incredibly warm and helpful -- which made an otherwise good Stacy great!

Quiet quail l Quiet, quality hotel

Wonderful experience to stay at this lovely hotel. Only drawback is a bit hard to get to, with luggage. We chose taxis to and from Air Coach drop off point. In a quiet, fashionable area of Dublin. We went into city by Dart railway.
