Great HotelPosted May 22, 2015
Pros: It is ideally located one block from the rapid transit system to City, Greystones and Howth
Cons: .don`t go when rugby international
Location: Two blocks to Sandymount Village with superior Italian Restaurant and Pub, and Sandymount Strand famous from James Joyce`s Ulysses
Very comfortable, superior breakfasts and the bar is friendly, the food good and open late.

Ruhiges Hotel, in günstiger Nähe zu Bus & BahnPosted May 21, 2015

Lovely hotel walking distance to cityPosted May 17, 2015
We enjoyed our stay at Sandymount. In a nice area of Dublin, a short walk to the metro and easily walkable to the city centre. Rooms were a decent size and the hotel well equipped with its own restaurant. Staff were very approachable and always around to answer questions.

Great location and fabulous staffPosted May 5, 2015
Pros: The staff, so friendly and helpful
Cons: The rooms can be a bit of a trek to without great signage.
Location: This hotel is within meters of the Aviva Stadium.
When we arrived they informed us they did not have a family room available and could offer us a put up bed in a double room. As I had booked a room with a double and 2 singles this was very disappointing. however I said I didn't mind as it was more important that me and my 2 teenage sons had somewhere to sleep. The receptionist immediately asked her superior what could be done and we were upgraded to an executive suite. The room was fabulous, with a double and single bed and the bell boy even came and made up the sofa into another double. The bar staff were great, my son had forgotten his hair gel (major drama) but the bar man overheard us talking and went and got his own products and offered my son the use of them.

Good Hotel near the ferry port in DublinPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: Plenty of free parking which can be difficult in city hotels and a pleasant , quiet area away from noisy traffic.
Cons: It would be nice to see some early bird dinner offers in the restaurant or some deals for two courses and a drink for less than 25 Euro..
Location: It is not far from the main N11 ring road and has easy access by taxi to the city centre in around 15 minutes and ferry port area.
I like this hotel because it is has free parking, free internet, good quality rooms and is near the ferry port as well as main roads around Dublin. It is in a quiet spot but within a reasonable walk from some shops and restaurants. The food in the bistro like most of Ireland is very expensive but there are local restaurants you can get to in 15 minutes and reception can give you a map.

Nettes Hotel aber kein RuheortPosted May 4, 2015

Cute convenient hotel in a quiet town near DublinPosted Apr 8, 2015
The hotel was located in a really nice town just down the road from Lansdowne DART station, so very easy to get into Dublin and the neighboring towns as well! Sandymount village is only a short walk away, to which there are really great small cafes to have really good breakfast! And also not far from the main streets in Ballsbridge so that you can also take the bus into the city center too. The room we were in was quite nice! Bed was comfortable though the space to move around the room was very limited. A bit damp and can get stuffy, but this is also due to the weather at this time of the year (March is rainy and still cold). But overall the stay was very enjoyable!

VERY CONVENIENTPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Proximity to public transport. Clean, comfortable.
Nicely situated in a quiet area but within a few minutes walk of the DART railway station. Also Sandymount village is a 10 minute walk away if you fancy a meal out or a drink in a pub without going into town or using the hotel restaurant. Very comfortable, nice big room, staff excellent. Definitely would stay there again. We were early arrivals and having pre warned them a room was available for us to check in at about 10.30 am.
