Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location.Posted Jun 9, 2015
Cons: Baggage storage. Locks on the doors within the apartment.
Location: Quick 5-10 minute walk from Temple Bar area and all of those touristy spots.
Myself and a group of friends stayed at this hotel during our short weekend trip to Dublin. Our flight landed early in the morning, and we got to the city center about 10am. We made our way to the hotel to store our bags while we explored the city before check in, but they told us they do not have an area to store bags. This is really unfortunately given that check in is at 3pm. We packed light, so it wasn't a huge deal to carry our bags with us, but it still was inconvenient. They pointed us to a visitor center about 5 minutes away that charges 5 euro a person to store baggages. Check in went smoothly and our room was wonderful. We had a group of 6 and it fit us all VERY comfortably. It was unusual to us that the doors didn't lock, not even the bathroom door. We had a mix of genders staying, so it was a bit uncomfortable not being able to lock the bathroom door when showering, especially because the shower is completely see-through glass. Our group split up the second day we were there, and the front desk was very accommodating. Since they have 24/7 desk maintenance, they allowed us to store the keys there while we went out and they checked the names upon return before giving them back (since everyone who was staying in the room had to be written down during check in). Upon check out, the staff was very eager to help to find transportation from the airport back to our flats. All in all, a great place. Would highly recommend, especially for longer stays in the city.

Nice apartments in the center of everythingPosted May 27, 2015
Pros: The price was reasonable, the location was excellent, the apartment was very nice, and the bedrooms were comfortable.
Cons: The Wi-Fi could have worked better and the check in process could have been earlier and faster. Kitchen cleaning supplies would have been nice.
Location: It seems to be on the quieter side of the River Liffey, but a couple blocks across the river was hopping at night. Lots of pubs and restaurants.
This was my first time in Dublin and our stay was three days long. The apartments were located in a prime spot right in the middle of most of the action. We were told we could check in at 3 PM, but they were still cleaning the apartment until 5 PM. This was unfortunate, but didn't end up being a very big deal. The Staycity location on Saint Augustine Street had big luggage lockers in the garage that could be rented for 2 and 3 euro (depending on size). We put our luggage there when we got into Dublin and enjoyed the city until our apartment was ready. Once we got into the apartment, I was blown away by how nice it was. Our reservation was only for three, but there was a room of three single beds and another room of one queen size bed. There were also two couches in the living room that pulled out into more beds. The bedrooms were connected outside by a shared balcony and there was another balcony off the kitchen and living room. The kitchen was nice and contained an oven, a good sized mini fridge, and a table with several chairs. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots, and pans, but we had to buy our own cleaning supplies to wash the dishes. There was free Wi-Fi available, but it seemed to only work in a couple sweet spots of the apartment. Dublin was full of Wi-Fi, so this wasn't too much of a problem, but it would have been nice if it was more reliable while we were inside.

Apartments für Selbstversorger im Herzen Dublins.Posted May 1, 2015

Great location but very basicPosted Apr 7, 2015
Cons: Cutlery and toiletries, sofa beds quality, hot water system, WiFi.
Decent quality apartment. Very basic cooking facilities and toiletries. Great location. Sofa-bed very uncomfortable and worn out. Lack of hot water. We were informed during our stay that the hotel ran out of routers/modems so we were couldnt have WiFi during our whole stay. This was very dissapointing as free WiFi was advertised and definetely it was one of the perks to book this apartment.

Coole Appartments in TOP-LagePosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Ideale Lage

City Break for 6 Nations RugbyPosted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: It is ideally located, is well served by shops, restaurants and public transport links and its a short walk to the Temple Bar area
Cons: General décor is tired with low quality fixtures and fittings. Kitchen equipment was basic and no washing up/cleaning products provided. WiFi was poor
Location: First class location, SPAR next door for food requirements and plenty of restaurants and access to public transport & short walk to Temple Bar
We booked this apartment for four of us to attend the Ireland Vs England game, the primary expectation was to be centrally located to enjoy the atmosphere of Dublin. The trip was a great success (save for the rugby result :-( ) and we will definitely be back again sometime in the future to enjoy Dublin and the surrounding area. The apartment has a great location but lacks polish... in need of some TLC and updated crockery etc. but provided an ideal base to enjoy the sights and fun of Dublin!

Central DublinPosted Mar 10, 2015
1 week at short notice booked, appartment ok for the price, but don't expect German standards, kitchen equipment, pots pans etc, are basic, so only very basic cooking possible, otherwise eat out, which defeated the point of getting the appartment. The kitchen equipment i.e. pots & pans etc. should be renewed and the kitchen properly cleaned, especialy underneath the overhead cuboards. Also very loud in the morning, when the waste/garbage collection do their rounds, (around 6 am), or the street is being cleaned on a Monday, with a high pressure street cleaner plus brush machine, at 4 am. The hotel also say that they have a 24 hr reception desk, unfortunatley once again this is not the case, if you are lucky and require something in the evening, (info, toilet paper, or require to mention a fault), then it is a 50/50 chance of having a member of staff? on the front desk.
