Road facing rooms a bit noisy and the aircon didn't work but great location and very friendly staff! The breakfast cafe is brilliant - a must try!

Pleasant hotel, central for sightseeing

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Breakfast and conveniently sited. Helpful staff.
Cons: Furniture in rooms, ventilation, better pillows
Location: Shopping area just around corner. Short walk, 5 mins to tour bus pick up point at St Stephens Green. 10 mins walk ( max) to river.
Pleasant friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Room was basic but clean. Not enough ventilation, none in bathroom, no air conditioning, window opened but smells from car fumes, room smelt a bit musty. New beds which were comfortable but pillows were poor.

Very central

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Room rough round the edges, needs refurbishment. The only lighting in the room was one bed side lamp. Not enough towels and they were very thin. However, lady on reception asked for our feedback when checking out in the morning - told her what I've said here. She thanked us for the feedback and offered us free breakfasts in the restaurant which were brilliant!! Good save!!

Good central location

Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Handy for city centre and the staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: The carpets were being replaced but the bathrooms would be better for a freshen up
Location: the hop on/off bus was great but buy the tickets at the airport or when you get there. I brought tickets on line and it was much more expensive
The hotel was reasonably priced for city location. The beds were comfy and the bed linen clean and fresh. The bathrooms could have done with a refurb as they were quite old and tired but clean enough. you have to pay for wifi which was annoying but it is free in the bar, trouble is the bar closes at 9pm! We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor the first couple of nights and soon found you could get wifi as it was close enough to the bar but on our third night we were on 4th floor and we couldn't get wifi unless we paid so if you want free wifi ask for 2nd floor (room 208)!

Being renovated

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Convenient and clean.
Cons: See above.
Location: Central location for most things.
The painter had just finished as we arrived. The TV had not been connected. The room furnishings were not in keeping with Travelodge branding and the room was dated. The AC was not working - don't know if it was not switched on after the painter. Might be OK when finished. Very noisy location near the street- could benefit from better glazing.

Great location

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Good location and comfortable room. There is a coffee bar/restaurant attached and a breakfast is available via the hotel for 7.50 euros, very nice.
Location: The main pedestrian shopping street is round the corner and so is St Stephen's Green Park. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Very clean, rooms comfortable and recently refurbished.

Hyggelig personale! KUN gratis wifi i resepsjonen. 3 min gange til shoppinggata Grafton street. Og 7-8 min gange til Tempel bar. Anbefales pga utmerket beliggenhet, men rommene er gamle.
