Holiday

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Its central location.
Location: The live entertainment in the hotel itself was very lively and thoroughly enjoyable. The nightlife in the area was fantastic along with the many pubs
My daughter and I stayed in Temple Bar Hotel for 5 nights in August. We found the location was excellent as it is in the heart of the entertainment and tourist area of Temple Bar. We both absolutely loved it.

Good Hotel, almost as advertised.

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location, room size. Affordable considering location.
Cons: Had to get face clothes at the front desk, only a comforter no sheet on the bed. WIFI. I could not find an ice machine. Coin only vending machine.
Location: The neighbour hood is trendy and very touristy but is amazing and there is something to do all over!
Great location. Nice hotel. Decent value relative to what else is around, in a tourist area like Temple Bar. I'm from Canada, and my deciding factor of the few places I had narrowed down was wifi in the rooms. Temple Bar Hotel stated that they did. When I got to my room, the internet would not even connect, and when it did, the signal was so bad and slow that I might as well have not had any internet. It would just disconnect and not work when it did connect. I incurred $60 in extra roaming charges because I needed internet.

Very pleasant hotel in a great location

A most enjoyable place to stay in the heart of Dublin. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service during our stay. The room was comfortable, the meals were excellent, the music great. We will definitely book this hotel again when we next visit Dublin.

Nice hotel in happening night life area

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Expedia.ca
Cons: Air conditioning units in rooms.
Location: Lots of night life and live music. Trinity College is around the corner. Across the O'Connell Street bridge is shopping on Henry Street.
I choose the Temple Bar Hotel on a whim and was not disappointed. I was right downtown close to all amenities. Staff were friendly and welcoming and took care of all of our needs. Rooms are small, but there is still plenty of room to move around. Bathroom facilities were very clean and spacious.

Close to everything

Posted Jul 31, 2014
The hotel is in a great location close to everything but it is very noisy at night. The breakfast was good value at €7 for all you can eat hot and cold. The hotel has free wifi which is good, but so does everywhere in Dublin.

Nicely located hotel in downtown Dublin

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Nice hotel, just a few walkable blocks from the airport bus drop-off. From there everything in downtown Dublin was walkable, including links to Tour buses. Lots of restaurants and active nightlife. Temple Bar District is fun and active.

Great staff, convenient for the lovely bars and clubs. Couldn't access wifi, if that's a huge problem for some?

Nice place great spot...

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: A/C
Location: Great location, close to bus stops for tours... walking distance to mostly everything
If you want to stay right in the middle of the busy bar area then this is a great place. Was very comfortable and close to everything, can walk everywhere from here. If you're not interested in the pubs then you might prefer somewhere quieter. Nice room, great size and very clean. However we had a room facing the alley and had someone out there throwing up every night... meh. Also most of the restaurants close around 9pm so not much available if you eat late.

No hot water...

Posted Jun 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
They had an issue with the water and we were without hot water (for showers, etc). We were only there for one night, our visit was OK otherwise.
